I am so sleepy after a long day in the city heat to take my exam. But that went well so now I can relax for a bit. I really need some time off to get better sleep. Yesterday I dogsitted my brother's puppy which was absolutely lovely, she is super cuddly and fun and it really helped me not focus on exam anxiety. Today I went to the city took my exam and then treated myself with a fresh piece or focaccia, a bookshop crawl and a coffee cream.

nothing funnier to me than when AI does math wrong. like I get why it happens, it's a language model that's treating the numbers you feed it as words rather than integers and then giving you an answer based on how those words typically appear in a block of text instead of actually performing a calculation. but the one thing computers are genuinely incredible at. you fucked up a perfectly good calculator is what you did, look at it it's got hallucinations

having pet stick bugs is fun because every so often i will hear the distinct sound of several stick bug falling and ill go to check on them and find them all in a pile on the ground of their enclosure and i have to figure out if theyve just decided that its floor time now or if they kept mistaking each other for actual sticks again and bundled together the ceiling until gravity got the best of them.
