Cabbie always deserves to be a Big Boy

Four years ago this week, I sat down and drew my first ever digital art after practicing for a couple weeks with my iPad and pencil. Finally, I sat down again and re-drew it. Seeing the change from then to now is crazy, and I hope to make even more improvements. I bring to you, after two weeks, procreate crashing 3 times, one 6am all nighter and 120+ layers later: Knight Cabbie pt. 2 :D

WRITERS. YOU HAD SUCH A GOOD SET UP TO MAKE RYSPOSITO CANON. I AM WELL FUCKING AWARE THAT KEVIN IS NOT SINGLE BUT IF YOU WEREN'T SUCH FUCKING COWARDS THEN YOU WOULD HAVE STARTED PLANTING THESE SEEDS SINCE THE BEGINNING. ASSUMING YOU HAD BEEN DOING THAT, LET ME REWRITE THEIR BURNING SCENES WITH THAT IN MIND.

let ryan stay trapped longer. build stakes. i know yeah the dying stakes exist but really drive home the idea that potentially, espo could escape if he left ryan behind. obviously that way of escape will turn out to be faulty, but they don't know that yet. ryan pushes for espo to leave without him. espo refuses.

when ryan tells espo to stop banging on the pipe, the "we gotta save our strength" becomes "you gotta save your strength", further reinforcing the idea that ryan wants espo to leave him behind. espo, obviously, will refuse. ryan notices the phone and directs espo on what to do with it.

assuming, like i stated, that rysposito has been a long time coming, there is no "talking to jenny" portion of the phone call. have it cut off when beckett would've handed the phone over. that's when espo can free ryan. they're still lucid enough to do so since the phone call was shorter.

instead of the confession now, we have a long enough window of time for them to do a whole "you know you mean the world to me" but they don't say it explicitly, just sort of alluding to the idea that they're in love with each other.

after that, kevin still does the whole "we're getting out of here" thing, but when he looks back, espo is almost gone. not quite. kevin rushes over and tells him he can't die because he's in love with him. it shocks espo enough that he stays awake long enough for a brief kiss, after which he slumps over. i do not care of this is cheesy. most of the show is.

7. vvvv in this shot, they should be together. maybe holding each other.

8. i agree with all the people online. they should not have been able to literally walk out of the building. they should be still unconscious or half-conscious, carried by the firemen and then put in the ambulances.

9. a new scene where they're in the hospital, and beckett or castle comes by to "see how they're doing", mainly to justify the scene for the less side-character-inclined viewers. they don't mention anything about being together, but you can see they're holding hands and they exchange a look. espo probably does some stupid quip about "being better than ever".

i'll might. rant about their relationship through the whole series at once sometime else. but i just needed to get this out of my syster
