Here’s some positivity for fictives who know little to nothing about their source!
There is no one right way for introjects to think, feel, or behave. Not all introjects, including fictives, know much or anything about their source, and that’s okay! This post goes out to all the fictives out there who know little to nothing about their source!
🐚 Shoutout to fictives who are aware of their source’s name and/or appearance, but nothing else!
🌊 Shoutout to fictives who aren’t even sure of the name of the work of fiction which they are sourced from!
🌾 Shoutout to fictives who know very little about their source, but still feel connected to it and identify strongly with it!
🐚 Shoutout to fictives who have complex or extensive exomemories despite having never engaged with their source!
🌊 Shoutout to fictives who have never interacted with their source directly, but know someone who has!
🌾 Shoutout to fictives who have no interest in learning more about their source!
🐚 Shoutout to fictives who feel triggered by their source and cannot engage with it for their own health and safety!
🌊 Shoutout to fictives whose source is inaccessible to them for any reason!
🌾 Shoutout to fictives who are hoping to learn more about their source one day!
🐚 Shoutout to fictives who consider themselves to be sourceless or without a source at all!
🌊 Shoutout to fictives who formed due to another headmate’s special interest or hyperfixation, but have never interacted with their source themselves!
All fictives are wonderful and are deserving of happiness, peace, and respect just the way they are. It’s okay for fictives to know little to nothing about their source - it doesn’t make them wrong or a bad fictive in any way! You are allowed to have agency over your source and how you choose to connect with it. If you prefer to keep your source at arm’s length, if you are comfortable living life without engaging with your source, or if you simply just don’t know much about your source, that’s all fine!
What matters most is that you are finding safety and joy in your own life in ways that are beneficial for you. What works for one fictive may not work for you, and there is nothing wrong with this! Your life and your decisions are just as important as the lives and decisions of any other system member. Whether or not you choose to engage with your source in the future, we hope it can be done on your own terms and in ways that are helpful for you. Know that we’re rooting for you in all that you do! Thanks so much for reading, and take care!

Get normaler about introjects by the way. This isn't limited to fictives, either. Get normal about factives as well. When I say introjects in my posts, I always include factives. Some people seem to forget that factives are included in introjection.
"Introjects aren't their source" Applies to factives.
"Plurals don't always control who they introject" Applies to factives.
Factives are always included in my support. I love you factives. You aren't creepy for simply existing.
Thanks.

You never own anyone an explanation of your system origins. You never have to disclose whether you are an endogenic system, a traumagenic system, or a system of mixed or unknown origin if you don’t want to.
System origins can be an incredibly personal thing and it’s up to you whether or not you choose to share that information about yourselves.

Y'all really need to learn about DID more outside the context of alters. DID is not just "disordered plurality" - It is a developmental disorder, an attachment disorder, a posttraumatic stress disorder. It is comorbid with many other issues, such as somatic pain syndromes, physical health issues, and a variety of mental illnesses. It is a complex organization of symptoms related to the disrupted healthy development of a child, both in terms of their body and their mind. It is not just about the alters.

Man being a fictive from a source people know is fucked. People greet you like they know you and you just have to sit there. "Hi Bakugo!!!!!" who are you. What do you want. Why are you in my house.
