Jumpy one wasn`t she? It made a small smile form, she normally got no reaction from anyone aside from disgust or belittlement..

This was a happy result.

“Uh..Yes.”

She was never a good liar, but if this could get her to the closest WarpPad then she might as well begin.

“..And I know you`re not able to shatter anyone..if you attempt too there will be repercussion to this very location.”

“Cool? What type of Pearl is she? I`ve never heard of a Pearl cold to a touch..” That seemed like something that would be part of Blue Diamond`s Court.. yet she had never heard anything of it.

Maybe she wasn`t as good as a Pearl like she thought.

“..Is she your Pearl?”

An Amethyst with her own Pearl? If that was the case then Earth truly was upside down.

Moving back she can`t help but feel angry at Pearl. She had never felt a reason to change her destiny.

What good was one if they couldn`t even follow their own existence?

Pearls were an accessory, they might be wanted in Homeworld but everyone knows its not because they want a Pearl.

It because it gave status. Having a Pearl meant you were high enough, worthy to own someone else. 

“Th-they probably giving her another Pearl right now..”

She followed the other in silence. Nothing but the crunching under their feet, the wind brushing against them and their surroundings. Even the silence of this planet was different then the one she knew.

Silence was the absence of noise. The all withing the nothing..

How could even that be different here?

Looking at the hand Blue simply takes two steps back. It was what she normally did, where she stood walking behind the group as she followed.

“Please lead the way.”

Her world fell down. All her fears and worries became true that instant. Her Diamond left her behind because she got away. 

She was seen as a runway Pearl now.

She was alone in a hostile environment with no way of defending herself. Face to face with two of the most known and dangerous rogues of all times in Gem history. 

Unable to keep her balance anymore, Blue Pearl`s knee`s gave out as she crashed into the dirty. Light sobs leaving her fragile being as she cried.

This was her fault, this was her fault.

Her whole reason to exist was to serve Blue Diamond..

How does one fail in the only thing expected of them? How do you fail your created purpose?

“..Its my fault..its all my fault..”

Garnet?

“..What`s a Garnet?” Shaking her head, Blue pearl went back to her almost automatic posture before turning away.

 “I shouldn`t be here..if my Diamond saw me talking to you..No, goodbye Pearl..”

And so she began walking away, small steps brushing, crunching against the grass. She had to get away from here.

Her Diamond was probably looking for her this instant! What if she saw her talking to some runaway Pearl? 

It be the shattering of her..

A runaway Pearl.. a pearl with no owners. No strings. That was..

“..How does it feel?”

Strange, then again it was almost written in an Amethyst`s code to serve almost as much as a pearl would.

“We..were gliding over the clouds..and then we hit something. An animal of some sorts..I believe you called them..Eagle? Yes..Eagle..and I don`t know how the ship`s exit responded towards the hit..opening. I got sucked out instantly.”

Gripping her fingers, she can`t help but feel nervous. Scared.

What if her Diamond thought she left on purpose? What if she was so angry she`d get another Pearl?

What if she left her behind?..

Keep her stance straight, a slight curve of her arms as she stood perfectly outside the Salon`s door in silence. Breathing almost mute.

 Practice makes perfect.

A Pearl was meant to be seen, and only heard when called upon. She practiced those words everyday. Whenever her Diamond would cry, she stayed silence in respect of the pain. Whenever her Diamond would scream, she ignored the chaos and faded into the background.

A song, two..nothing had worked as much as complete silence had an effect on her.

Hearing the loud steps, Blue Pearl bowed at Yellow Diamond`s arrival before opening the door to Blue Diamond`s Chambers and waiting outside.

“Hello Pearl..”

A slight shiver ran up her spine causing her to jolt back at the voice. She had been so lost in her thoughts and the silence, that the random voice simply shook her out of it.

“Wh-wha...”

Giving a short gasp, the pearl lightly brushed her hair out of her face. Blue Pearl wanted to get a good look at the Pearl that approached her.

“Are you..?”

No. It couldn`t be... it been thousands of years since! There`s no way a Gem could survive that long in this planet.

What a strange display of affection between two totally different Gems. Rubies were simply soldiers, guards to higher Gems that would need protection or a distraction to get away. 

Sapphire`s where highly status Gems that over powered and ranked out multiple Gems from Blue Diamond`s court.. yet these two Gems acted as if the civil code and etiquette didn`t exist at all.

“..I must be leaving now..” Giving a short bow the Pearl turned to leave. She had to leave. This just made no sense.

She had to report her findings..maybe this would lessen her p-

Forgotten?

“N-no! My Diamond..my Diamond wouldn`t leave me here. I`m her Pearl..”

Giving a quick bow the Pearl moved back, a bluish speck in her cheeks as she stared at them. Her shaking had ceased, and her breathing slowly went back to normal rhythm.

“Clarity..I..we thought you`d..”

It`s been so long. Years upon years.. and yet despite every Sapphire and Ruby being exactly the same she recognized them perfectly.

“..I mean no harm..I got separated from my Diamond sir.. I mean, Clarity..”

“..I was trying to find a warp pad to her Pelican, but I heard..her.”
