To celebrate the 15th anniversary of My Life as a Teenage Robot, I decided to redraw the first drawing I ever did of Jenny when I was a kid. Hard to believe it was that long ago that I first saw the show that kickstarted my cartoon obsession!

Okay, I’m officially done entertaining this notion as a valid stance. If you don’t want to see me draw brown or plus-sized characters, that is too bad, because I’ve no intention of stopping just because you don’t find those things appealing. Moreover, telling someone not to draw black or overweight characters with no further qualifications (i.e. your portayals are problematic or some kind of constructive feedback to that effect) is really hard to see as anything other than ”I don’t want to see that, so stop”, which is a really bad look when race is involved.If you want my art to revolve around your racist, fatphobic worldview, you can go ahead and smash that unfollow button. Till then, I’m turning anons off. Bye.
