Epic Tavern
Tumblr media
Epic Tavern is a tavern-managament simulator with great RPG elements, developed by Hyperkinetic Studios, and i need to say, I’ve been waiting a game like this for a long time.
First, i need to say the athmosphere is awesome. As a fan of medieval-RPG’s and taverns/inns, i totally lost myself in it. Musics and sound effects are amazingly good.
Gameplay is fun, you are a tavern master, and serve to your patrons. You also can hire people to your party, and go to adventures with them. At the beggining, you’ll have limit on your roaster, but you can increase the number of people you hired by leveling up your Tavern. Also you can level up the people’s skills you hired,
Each game day, an amount of AP becomes available to you. You can spend AP’s by talking to patrons, serving them, etc. By the way talking to patrons is the only way to receive quests, so it’s pretty important.
There are several types of quests, like Story and Tavern and they’re all text-based. Basically, story quests helps you to go further in the story, and tavern quests helps you to expand your tavern, etc.
Overall, Epic Tavern is great for the medieval rpg fans like myself, game is still on Early Access, so there are some minor bugs, but devs working hard on fixing them. Don’t hesitate and go for it!

Carried Away
Tumblr media
Carried Away is a physics based sandbox game developed by Huge Calf Studios. Your goal is to build a safe ski lifts, jumps or bridges for skiers to safely pass. Game also allows to make your own level.
There are 3 types of game modes. First, there is campaign. There are 3 worlds (Tutorial world excluded), and each world has 14 levels. So there are plenty of levels, and you can be certain that each level is uniqe and non-repetitive.
Second, there is the Sandbox mode. As i mentioned before, you can make your own level and share it with other players via Workshop.
Third and last, is the Workshop. You can download levels made by other players and play them.
If you’re looking for something to chill while you play, Carried Away would be perfect for you. You can listen some musics while you play (By the way, Carried Away’s soundtrack is also very chill)

Niche - a genetics survival game
Tumblr media
Niche - a genetics survival game is a turn-based strategy game, and also reminds me of Spore. I was a big fan of Spore and i think you’ll also like this.
First of all, i need so say, graphics are really cute in Niche. It’s so colorful and lively with good soundtrack. There are plenty of species and you can combine them, so there are lots of different types.
Gameplay is turn based. You have limited movement/attraction limit per animal. So you need to plan your day carefully. You will need food and some crafting material to make a nest.
There are some ways to make your tribe more populated. You can find an animal on your island and offer them to join your tribe (by giving 5 food). Or you can simply mate with other animals and have a cross-specied baby. The baby will have it’s parent’s mixed genes.
Also, animals die because of various reasons. First, is dying because of the age. Your animals can grow old and die naturally. Or you can let them starve, or they can die by fighting.
There are no levels, but there is an island system. You can travel to another island whenever you want. So you won’t be stuck to an island and complain about it’s shape or amount of resources it has.
So, overall Niche is a pretty good alternative of Spore, Niche offers more at somethings to be honest. I highly suggest you to take a look at it.

Typoman: Revised
Tumblr media
Typoman is a side scroller, 2d platform-puzzle game. Made and published by Brainseed Factory.
You start playing as a O and gain more letter-body parts as the game proceeds. Puzzle element in the game is pretty fun. You find letters around the place and combine them to proceed. (For example, you need to create an “OPEN” word to pass through a gate, etc.)
In this surreal world, you’re not alone, there are various type of monsters trying to hunt you down, and you try to avoid them. Combining the puzzle element with this was a pretty good idea.
You may ask, “Ok, but what is the main goal in this game?”. Main goal is finding the last letter to restore hope in this dark-merciless world. I need to say, athmosphere is great.
So overall, Typoman is a unusual game with an unusual hero. If you liked Limbo, and would like to play a similar game to it, with more puzzle elements, this is just for you.

Euro Fishing
Tumblr media
Euro Fishing is one of the most realistic fishing simulators. It’s pretty fun to play it with friends to chill. However, i think it’d be way more better without the 30 FPS cap.
Aside from the FPS cap, game is pretty enjoyable. There are plenty of fish types and methods to catch them. For example, there are 3 types of beds, and you need to arrange your rod, bait, etc. according to that. Controls are not that hard, but i suggest you to use the Basic Cast Control at the start, Total Cast is a little bit difficult to start with.
There are 3 types of game modes. Singleplayer, Multiplayer and Academy. Academy is the tutorial of the game. It really helps you to learn the basics so i highly suggest you to start with it before you take a look at single-player or multiplayer.
In single player, you have several options, First is to fish freely. You don’t have a objective, you just fish. And then there is the tournament mode. You score points with catching fish.
In multiplayer, you can compete with others, or just fish with them casually. As i said, it’s pretty chill with friends.
When you get used to controls and get the hang of it, it becomes really entertaining. You can even fish with 3 rods at the same time.
So overall, if you don’t mind playing at 30 FPS, (It’s not a shooter or something like that, so it didn’t bothered me to be honest.) and looking for a realistic fishing simulator, i reccomend you to take a look at it.

Hunting Simulator
Tumblr media
If you’re looking for a more Arcade like hunting experience than theHunter, etc. Hunting Simulator is just for you!
The content is very rich, has tons of different weapons, gadgets, etc. (You can even fly a drone and use a crossbow!) Also, there are 12 different regions like Texas, Colorado, Alaska.
There are several types of game modes in Hunting Simulator, first, there is Campaign mode. You simply accept quests and try to accomplish them. Second, there is a Free Hunt mode. As you can understand from the title, you can freely hunt whatever you want. Other than that, you can play with your three friends and hunt animals together, or you can find some random people and hunt with them.
If you never played a hunting game before, you definetly should give it a try, but don’t expect to shoot at animals like COD, or BF. Hunting games requires patience, and a little bit timing.

GemCraft - Chasing Shadows
Tumblr media
GemCraft is a tower defense - strategy game. Your aim is to defend your main base with gems from waves of enemies. There are nine types of gems like critical hit gem, poison gem, etc and you can combine your gems. To use these gems, first of all you need to make a tower. All of these costs mana and you gain mana from slaying beasts.
Gameplay is also fun, if you don’t want to wait that much at a level, you can press the 3x speed button. Also, if you count on your defense, you can spawn other waves of enemies at once.
Level designs are good, so you never get bored and feel like you’re playing the same thing over and over again. Moreover, there is a skill system where you can spend your points gained from leveling up.
All in all, i think it’s a must-buy if you love Tower Defense games. Even if you’re not, take a look at it.

FTL: Faster Than Light
Tumblr media
FTL is a rogue-like space simulation game, created by Subset Games, It has text-based encounters, and battle system which you can simply play it quick or pause the game, and plan your attacks.
The main objective of the game is to Escape from sectors quickly enough before the rebels come and get you. Like at every rogue-like game, when you die, you can’t get back to your latest checkpoint or save. You need to start from the beggining. However, you won’t get bored because every sector is randomly-generated, so does the encounters.
Combat system is pretty fun and simple, but mastering it is a little bit hard, so i suggest you to take a look at the Tutorial before you start playing the game.
Also, there is an ability called jump on your ship. It helps you to change areas at a sector. Areas contains many things like, pirates, stores, or peole.
Overall, if you’re a fan of sci-fi and rogue-likes, you should totally give it a shot .

A fun fighting game. Characters are pretty interesting. (Especially Geiger) Has online multiplayer, so you can play it with your steam friends. It has 8 characters right now, but they’ll add new ones since it’s on Early Access. Overall, it has a great potential and it’s so much fun with friends, i hope it’ll become a great game. I also review games on my Curator Page. Would be grateful if you could take a look at it and follow. http://steamcommunity.com/groups/akusarireview#curation

Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem
Wolcen is an open world action-RPG, made with Cryengine. So graphics are stunning and magical effects (fireball, lightning) is well-made. If you're an ARPG player, you won't have hard time while getting used to controls and gameplay. Even if you're not, (like me) it's still not that hard. This game made me fall in love with itself beause of it's Housing System. As a fan of housing in MMORPG's this is better than the most MMORPG's housing system. I'm not even talking about how beautiful the furniture graphics are. Combat is fun. You don't need to select a class when you start the game. You can fight with every type of weapon. (Two-handed, One-handed, Staff, Crossbow) It's on Early Access right now, and the devs said that they'll release updates often, so i won't be writing about bugs, (i didn't encountered with bugs that much tho.) Last thing i'll write about Co-op/Multiplayer mode. Game is pretty fun at it's current state, but i think the fun would be doubled if there was a online co-op mode to play with your friends. (Like a 3-4 player party) I also reviewed it on my Curator Page, I'd be grateful if you could take a look at it and follow:

Warbands: Bushido
Warbands: Bushido is a Strategy - Board Game. There are 2 gamemodes. You can play the campaign or battle with your friends. However it's limited to 1v1. I'd love to see a 2v2 mode. Also, game is not all about miniatures and dices, it also has cards. It's feels like you play multiple games at once. So if you're a fan of Board Games, go for it.

Surf World Series
In Surf World Series, there are several activites that you can perform. First, there is the Surfing School, it's like a tutorial to the game and i highly reccommend you to take a look at it. Second, there are events. It gives you 3 challenges and you try to achieve them. Simple. Also, as a third option, you can just listen the beautiful musics from the game and surf freely. Moreover, there is an online mode. You can compete with others through performing tricks, etc. (15 players max.) All in all, i'm not a fan of sport games, and to be honest i don't really like them, but even i had fun playing this game.

Samurai Riot
Really fun beat 'em up game. Game wants you to make a choice at the key points of the story and according to your choices, you'll encouter with 7 different endings. Gameplay is simple, yet really fun. You can choose one of the two characters at the beggining. Also, game has Local Multiplayer. Online Multiplayer would be better, but it's still good. Just like the other Beat 'em up games, you encounter waves of enemies and proceed to next stage. It can sound repetitive, but i didn't got bored from playing it in my first hour. I also have a Curator page and reviewed Samurai Riot on it. I'd be grateful if you could take a look at it and follow. http://steamcommunity.com/groups/akusarireview#curation

Cook, Serve, Delicious! 2!! Review
Hello! I also reviewed it on my Curator Page. I would be grateful if you could take a look at it. http://steamcommunity.com/groups/akusarireview#curation You can work in restaurants or make one for yourself in Cook, Serve, Delicious! 2!! You need to be very fast (especially on rush hours), and serve the customers. There are plenty of food variations in the game, so you never feel like you play the same thing over and over again. (They were 30 foods in the first game, in this one there are 180 foods.) When you work in other restaurants, you earn boxes and from those boxes, you get decorations for your own restaurant. There are also levels in the game. So when you level up, there’ll be more restaurant and difficulty options for you. Also, they added Local Co-op, so this is also a big improvement. All in all, game is fun to play and dev said that it’ll be free DLCs and more contents, so i suggest you to go for it!
