slavery is honestly kind of an insulting word to use to describe what white people did to black people in this country and I think it boils it down to something that doesn’t even scratch the surface. You’re not recovering from that and everything that came after in just a few decades. People always want to say well the Chinese Americans and Italians or whoever tf else recovered from their oppression why can’t black people and it’s like just so eye opening to know that so many people cannot fathom what chattel slavery in this country was like. For 400 years. And they spent every year afterwards trying to recreate slavery in a way that was legal. It disgusts me to no end and even black people aren’t exempt from belittling what was done to them.

Honestly the “we are stuck” and “please help” bracelets have got me thinking about how they COULD incorporate the fans into saving The Black Parade, and not necessarily just the crowd because of the way they’ve been using the internet to make this tour work.
