Today is the first day of summer!
Yay!
People consider that "summer" is here since around the end of May and Memorial Day, but today is the actual beginning of the season. June 20 2025 is the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year when the sun reaches the highest point in the sky at noon.
About that... every day now will be slightly shorter and the nights longer as we begin the long slow slide into the depths of the winter that is ahead of us. You're welcome.
