Today the voice actor of Alexander Von Brennenburg and several other characters would turn 65.

Even though he passed away a few months ago it feels unreal to me in so many ways. Every time I remind myself of it, it brings me on the verge of tears. This person used to be a huge part of my childhood at some point even making it better and I am so grateful for that.

Not going to exaggerate with this part but Alexander Brennenburg means a lot to me, I love him so dearly as a character, I used to be unironically afraid of him when I was a kid tho lmao.

But the way my point of view of this character changed so drastically over the years is one of the reasons why he is my fav.

I used to see only a monster in him but as I grew up, I simply saw more in him starting to care about things other members of this fandom picked to completely ignore, and now this crusty alien baron is such a big comfort character to me.

I am so grateful that such an incredibly talented person voiced my favourite character, may Sam's legacy live forever.
