Hey beautifuls,
I’ve compiled a checklist in booklet format of pretty much anything I could think of or find online that you could include in your Grimoire/book of shadows. Please note that this is a very very broad list and you do not need to include absolutely everything listed. Pick and choose what matches your craft!
also if you would like a non-watermarked PDF print version (digital file) I’m offering this for just $3 AUD. You can direct message me here on tumblr or on my Insta account “@beautifulvalleywitch”.
Otherwise enjoy this free version lovely’s 🥰🥰

How to Collect Sea Salt for Your Craft.
Sea salt carries strong energy from the ocean, so a little goes a long way in spells or cleansing rituals.
You can do this on a warm, quiet day or night when there is no wind to avoid waves, making the collection process easier. If you live near the ocean, this can be a regular practice. However, if you live in a mountainous or inland area like me, consider doing this during a vacation or special visit to the sea.
Step 1: Gather Clean Sea Water
Choose a clean, pollution-free beach for collecting seawater.
Use a large container or bucket that is easy to carry and clean.
You can collect during the waxing moon or full moon for enhanced energy.
Step 2: Strain the Water
Filter the seawater to remove debris and impurities. You can use a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth for this.
Step 3: Boil the Water
Pour the filtered seawater into a large, stainless steel or non-reactive pot.
Bring it to a boil, then reduce the heat to let it simmer.
Stir occasionally to prevent salt from sticking to the bottom.
Step 4: Evaporate the Water
As the water evaporates, salt crystals will begin to form. Continue simmering until all the water is gone.
Step 5: Dry the Salt
Transfer the salt to a tray or baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Let it air-dry completely to remove any remaining moisture.
Step 6: Store the Salt
Store the dried salt in a clean, airtight container. You can label it with the date and source.

Great YouTube channels for witches from ReligionTube!
ReligionForBreakfast: Dr. Andrew Henry's channel covers history on all kinds of religions. Whatever you believe (or don't believe), there's something here for you!
Angela's Symposium: Dr. Angela Puca covers a lot of the history of the modern occult movement, including the modern witchcraft movement. (If you call yourself a witch today, you're part of this!)
ESOTERICA: Dr. Justin Sledge's channel covers the history of Western esotericism (which has heavily influenced the modern witchcraft movement) and talks about topics such as the early modern witch hunts.
