Nothing felt quite right anymore.

After your friends and lovers left you alone, you felt guilty, trapped in your mind. Sure they visited, but it never felt enough. Like you weren't enough.

Timmy had become an internet sensation, famous for being a ‘cat boy cosplayer’ that people adored. He never visited you, only occasionally dropping gifts of yarn.

While on a morning stroll to clear your mind, a pair of arms wrap around you, along with a tail.

“Master! It's been a long while, nya!” Timmy purrs, the vibrations send a shiver down your spine and the nickname brings back old memories.

“Hi Timmy, how are things?” You reciprocate the hug, he places a kiss on your cheek.

“All is good, Timmy doesn't get bossed around at his job and planned a shhedule to meet master today!” He explained with a smile.

“Really? You don't really visit at all so why did you plan one now?” You didn't mean for it to sound sarcastic, but with all the pent up anger inside, you couldn't hold back.

Timmy stares at you with a slight pout and wide, guilty eyes. “Timmy really does miss you! He was simply preoccupied.”

“Alright, though my home’s a bit busy.” You gave a small smile and the two of you headed back to the house where you two first met.

He noticed how nothing much had changed, and that the cat clocks were still being used in good hands, though he felt mocked by them too.

“Ah, I'm surprised Master hasn't replaced anything.” Timmy plops down on your bed, playing with the ball of yarn you had tossed to him.

You took a seat beside him, deep in your thoughts. “Yeah well, I've got nothing else to remember you all by.”

He pauses at your words, looking towards you and crawling onto your lap. He hums and nuzzles to your chest, giving you even the slightest bit of comfort.

“Everything feels wrong after you all left.” You whisper, focusing on the sheets. “When you all left, I was scared something bad happened.”

“I don't know, seems pretty dumb, huh?” You try to play it off, rubbing your neck. “I sound… weird and obsessive.”

Timmy puts a gloved hand over your mouth to shut you up, giving you a glare and a pout.

“Master shouldn't say things like that. It's normal to miss Timmy.” He assures, twirling the yarn around his fingers.

“Thanks.” You mutter, watching as he plays with the threads.

He stares at you, puts down the yarn and sits up properly. “Forgive Timmy for never visiting. I never meant to cause distress.”

There was a long silence, you lay down on the bed, and Timmy wasted no time going by your side and curling against your chest.

“I'm staying for the night, no matter what you say.” He giggles and sticks his tongue out. “And I'll make sure to visit every time, and to tell the others to come visit you.”

The promise makes you smile, it was something hopeful that you could hold onto for now. Timmy stayed with you for the weekend, keeping his promise by visiting every week. Helping you keep in time with your chores.

Though the days still seemed a bit lonely, Timmy always assured you that he would stay with you and care for you.
