20 year old Hyde Park native, Alia Jhane, was our featured artist. Alia exemplifies what the elee.mosynary gallery is all about; she’s both a self-taught, multi-disciplined artist and teaching artist; she’s an entrepreneur, community oriented, a seeker of enlightenment and protector of peace.

Her work reveals a deep spiritual connection with the universe and interest in sexuality, culture, and youth. Alia shamelessly bares it all in her art, whether it be with her raw multimedia aids or under the alias of Idiomatic as a versatile storytelling femcee and poet.

She is also the founder of SoulFree, a developing community initiative that currently hosts an open mic, peace circle and psychedelic party for the youth.

You will be able to follow her evolution with us, as she will be partnering with the elee.mosynary gallery in the future.
