One of the most frustrating and hurtful parts about being neurodivergent is watching a show with someone you care about, and then a clearly (though not explicitly stated) neurodivergent character shows up and they’re the most relatable character to you ever. But then after realizing it, the person you’re watching it with says “they’re so annoying” and you can’t help but feel like they’re saying it about you. And it feels like the only reason they don’t say it about you is either because you can mask well enough or because they don’t want to offend you.

Literally every time I see something about ts4 on YouTube, it’s always “New patch meant to fix the game broke it more!” “New pack makes game unplayable?” “EA responds to concerns by making a patch that adds more issues instead of fixing it like they said!”

I really wish this game was made by people who actually gave a shit about the game instead of just making money. Instead of fixing the metric fucktons of issues and glitches brought with basically every single patch, update or DLC, they just add more and more gamebreaking DLC and then give a “we hear you!” response when people say “Hey, I actually am incapable of playing this because it’s so broken” and then they like, barely fix the issue or make like, 60 patches, none of which actually solve the problem.

And so many of the packs are basically non-functional, like Dine Out or My Wedding Stories. But instead of fixing the issues in these packs, they put the absolute minimum effort into patching it, but only when the pack’s first released. And then ditch fixing the broken DLC in favor of adding MORE broken DLC. Instead of, y’know, actually fixing their existing packs to make them playable.

I know that every single feature in the Sims 4 is broken as shit, but Dine Out is especially infuriating. Pretty much every breakfast date ends up being a dinner date, if I get served food at all, like, ever.

With how long this dlc has existed, you’d think they’d have fixed this by now, but this is EA. They don’t care if their game’s unplayable, because functional or not, they make more money by pumping out endless dlc that doesn’t work.
