Adjusting: Heard there was an outcry for some Pre-Pilot fics, so what better one than this story about Cole?? Cole attempts to make friends with the bizarre newfound members of this so-called team, but he has some trouble...adjusting (OOOH TITLE DROP!!!)

My Battery is Low (And it's Getting Dark): Always a must-recommend from me, this Zane-centric tale chronicles his time alone in the Never-Realm through a video diary that breaks down his feelings on the other Ninja, his attempts at dealing with his situation...and his own spiraling doubts and loneliness until suddenly he doesn't

D is For Don't Drop Kick Metal Helmets Unless You're Wearing Shoes: Gotta be logged into Ao3 for this one mmmBUT it's a fun little story focusing on Nya, her time as Samurai X, and bits of her and Cole's dynamic! Really great character voice in this one, along with many funny and charming moments!

Some Burn Hot, Some Burn Cold: A Lloyd story that have served as a great inspiration to me along with being an all-around fascinating look into how Lloyd deals with his emotions, especially compared to everyone else. Love me some Lloyd confronting emotions *-*)9

“The Siblings They Could’ve Been” Ninjago AU

Instead of the overlord, the FSM revived Harumi and gave her chance to redeem herself-by sending her back in time to be there when Lloyd had no one else and prevent the pain Lloyd had to go through

She had to be the sister she never was (she technically was adopted by Garmadon after all)

Harumi accepted the offer because she wasn’t ready to die, but grew to genuinely care for Lloyd.

To elaborate: Harumi ‘s perception of Lloyd is very warped because of her trauma and years of hatred. So when she met child Lloyd, orphaned, starving and alone- Just as she was- There was disconnect between the two.

Because of this disconnect, she grew to learn and care for Lloyd for who he really is, without bias clouding her perception of him.

But destiny is set in stone. Even if the journey is different, the destination is the same. In other words, keystone events will happen always. (like great devourer. yay <3)

But Harumi tries to make it less traumatic for Lloyd and tries to go for a better outcome. Because of her obsessive research of the years, she knows of the ninja’s exploits well and the events that come with it.

She still hates the rest of the Ninja though (barring Nya) because of how they treated Lloyd and how they treat their roles as protectors of Ninjago too lightly.

Lloyd only knows her as Rumi, just another lonely orphan with no where else to go. She never wants him to know she’s from the future and all the things she’s done.
