So a lot of people have characters who are Ishgardian born. Before the calamity (5 years prior to ARR) Ishgard and the surrounding areas of Coerthas were lush, green, and flowering.
I can’t even imagine the pain I’d feel seeing my birth home go from fertile and green, to iced over and dead.

As you’ll read, my old boy isn’t doing the best. His weight keeps dropping and he’s developed a bit of a sneeze and cough. Financial Aid was not what I expected and due to past issues CareCredit and the like are not an option. As a student I’m basically broke as hell but I need to provide care for my beloved furchild. Help Save a Home!
My household is in a crisis. We’re being faced with losing our home, and we’re frantically trying to avoid that.
I live with my best friend and her husband, Emily and Rob Fry. The Fry’s have had their knock of rough luck, and filed for bankruptcy a few years back. They’ve been making their payments and all has seemed well. They had about 1.5 years go go before that’s settled. Everything has seemed fine…Things are not fine. Last night we found out our HOA is trying to put a lien on the house and get it foreclosed on over $3,000 that wasn’t included in the bankruptcy. Just that much, and they want to take our home! We’re all living pretty much at our means. Rob is a full-time worker at UPS for over 20 years, there’s no way he could take a second job. Emily is diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, and though she’s tried, her body simply will not allow her to work. (And trust me, she’s tried. She misses working). And I’m already working the maximum amount of hours I can as a CNA in order to keep my financial help with attending college to become an RN. Essentially? We’re backed into a corner, and looking at two option. We sell the house, which none of us are prepared for or can do financially or with our current pets. Or we raise $3,000 to pay of the HOA debt and save our home. So…I’m putting up a GFM in the earnest hope that folks will help us. Even dollar helps. And if you can’t donate? Please reblog.
