So do your noses have olfactory capabilities like earth mammals’ or are they just vessels for breathing/vestigial pseudo-organs?

From what I can tell they seem to be more or less the same- maybe on a different range..? I haven’t studied it that closely yet, but they certainly have purpose! That being said, this planet smells terrible, burnt even- uh.. no offence of course.

How many color cones are in your eyes?

hmm- Three..? Kind of? As compared with a standard for your species, We don’t have much use for the blue cone, so count it as half - and then some have a more active fourth that dips into ultraviolet; the rest of us only have half of this as well so it adds up to 3 overall!. But they wouldn’t be visiting Earth, they’d have a much better job I don’t have that though, I’ve only got the “three”

Ooc: I genuinely haven’t looked at colour cones in ages, it used to be one of my fav topics as a kid bc I had an interactive book about it 😭😭 had to pull up google for this 💔

Somewhere inbetween these two is more or less what he sees (leaning the left as it’s weaker, not completely out of use) but I bet some of them would see the right hand scale

as compared with full scale:

He basically sees somewhere between a duller midsection of the rainbow and a green or pink tinge to everything

Some of them see kind of like this?? Found a bird cone graph and hastily shrunk the blue cone. Idk what this would look like because it is fictional and I’m not a scientist,, 💔
