Do you think Towa met Ed at the school or maybe they knew each other beforehand? I can't stop thinking of their interactions in the latest episode and the short interaction from the campus.

Kind of depends on what Towa is tbh. Assuming he's got normal physical constraints or is tied to Darkwick in some way, it's unlikely Towa would have met Ed outside of Darkwick since Ed was in Eastern Europe up until two-ish years ago.

Towa's hostility towards anomalies explains why he would view Ed with such disdain even if they've only known each other for a year. Ed is an anomaly--a powerful anomaly who probably isn't scared of Towa and won't listen to him, and Towa probably wouldn't be able to significantly overpower him either. So Towa would find this irritating. Plus Towa has a strong sense of smell, so even if Ed doesn't smell bad to a normal person he probably does smell like a corpse to Towa, which would be unpleasant I'm sure lol.

Personally my current headcanons are that Towa was held back his first year due to not going to class or being too aggressive with the anomalies maybe(hence him being a second year right now), and that he was initially placed into Ultio before being moved to Jabberwock at some point. And when Ed was originally captured they put him in Ultio's care, so he saw firsthand how Towa treated weaker anomalies and anomalies in their prison. But I don't really have any basis for any of that, it's just my headcanon. . . .
