A Captain’s Love
A fully colored digital comic of the Strawhats from One Piece.
The first page only contains a panel with the words "A Captain's Love.“
The second page shows Luffy and Nami holding hands and smiling at each other. Pictured underneath is a close-up of their interlinked hands and the gray silhouette of a person asking "So, are you guys dating?" Another panel shows Nami's reaction: an appalled expression on her face and "huh?" written in bold red letters.
The second page depicts Luffy sitting on Zoro's lap, happily eating meat while Zoro is drinking. Next to them is a gray silhouette again, asking: "isn't that weird?" At the bottom of the page is Zoro's reaction: an intimidating glare with "WHAT" spelled out in big red capital letters behind him.
The third page contains a drawing of Luffy and Usopp, sleeping on spread out blankets and pillows on the floor while cuddling. Again, the silhouette of a person is in the corner, remarking: "you know what people might think." Usopp's reaction in an extra panel is giving the person a deeply disapproving side-eye, asking "oh yeah...?"
The fourth page depicts Luffy tighly hugging Robin while lifting her in the air as both of them are grinning. The gray silhouette of a person is asking: "Are you really gonna let him act like that with your girlfriend?" Pictured underneath is Franky, deeply confused expression on his face, only responding with a bewildered "uhh...."
The last panel shows Luffy, grinning and holding his hat. The asexual and the aromantic flag are pictured behind him.

YGO REANIMATE 2 - CALL FOR ANIMATORS

(Banner art by Bam) 📢Let’s Re-Animate an entire episode of Yu-Gi-Oh! The Abridged Series📢
Yu-Gi-Oh! Reanimate 2 is a collaborative non-profit project where every participants will reanimate a shot of an episode of YGO The Abridged Series (with the courteous permission received from LittleKuriboh himself) in however they desire!
We’ll be recreating Episode 77 - Loopy In The Sky With Duel Disks. It will include the ending credits based on the 2nd YGO Duel Monsters end credit.
This project is open for all animators of any skill (student, hobbyists, professionals. That also mean those who don't have much experience can apply, just as long as you have proof that you can do the work). Each animator can work with any medium they want: paper, digital, stop-motion, CG, pixel, etc, as long as it lines up with the shot given! Shots are assigned first come, first served and shots will begin to be distributed on September 15th 2025. There are over 250 shots in this episode, so there’s plenty of shots to go around. If you know anyone who might be interested in this, spread the words! Thank you and HAVE FUN!
Submission (OPEN!)
Fill in the application HERE: Yu-Gi-Oh! Reanimate 2 Application - Google Forms Bonus point if you can tell me about your familiarity with Yu-Gi-Oh! Any links to websites that have little, to none, of your own work will not be considered. No AI allowed too. If you’d like a particular shot, feel free to request it! (It’s yours if it’s open)
Shot Submission Guidelines:
SPECS: 1920x1080, 24fps, mp4/mov uncompressed. Email your finished shot to [email protected] with your shot number (OP#) or (SC#) as the subject. *Please keep your animation non-offensive. Extremely sexual, racist, hurtful materials are not allowed (if you aren’t sure, we can discuss your idea through mail or on Discord group for approval).
This project has no affiliation with Kazuki Takahashi or any entity officially connected to the YGO franchise in any fashion. This is purely a free, fan-based project for animators. Not to mention, 2026 will mark not only the 10th anniversary of YGOReanimate being hosted for the first time, but it also marks the 30th anniversary of Yu-Gi-Oh! AND the 20th anniversary of Yu-Gi-Oh! The Abridged Series. Thus, ideally, we're aiming for 2026 release. If you have any more questions, please don’t hesitate to send ask or email [email protected]. Check the FAQ to see if your question has already been answered. - Phui Jing Ling

“I copyrighted my book by putting © on the bottom of the first page.”
“This picture is on the Internet, so I can just ‘right-click’ and use it on my website.”
“I copyrighted this DVD by mailing it to myself.”
“We don’t have any copyrights because we never registered anything with the government.”
Have you ever said any of these things? If so, you are in good company—most people have. But they are all incorrect.
Should a writer copyright an unpublished work before submitting it to an agent or publisher? If a writer does not formally copyright their unpublished work and finds someone copying it or giving away free copies, how are they disadvantaged, if at all? How does a writer copyright her work?
