Izuku doesn’t break eye contact, even as he takes both of Shouto’s hands in his own. Dry and warm and considerate of Shouto’s wrist, they feel safe, like Izuku’s magic and maybe that old wives tale about people becoming like their magic is true.

Have you read Falling Backwards (Gravity) by @modernart2012 yet?  You should because it made me so soft I just had to draw this scene from chapter 2.

hi, just stopping by to say that i really, really love both your vld and bnha artwork :) i came across your tumblr after seeing one of your youtube vids. i also recently discovered you were the author of one of one of my fav bnha fics (ichidaiji) and magi fics (i am your king). do you plan to continue writing someday? sorry if this is too forward, i’m not pressuring you or anything. :(

Thank you for your kind words!  I still write!  I just don’t do it very often if at all?  I am in a very different place in life now than I was when I began Ichidaijiwhen I was still a college student, and definitely in an even farther off place than I was when I wrote i am your king in high school, so writing has taken a backseat to doing other things (my job, finding a new apartment, etc adult life things).

Hi Allen, I love your art on your youtube channelI wanted to ask for maybe advice/ tutorials on how i can get into pixel art, Just tips and stuff. Thank you

I don’t really have any proper tutorials, but I guess my biggest advice is to just not be scared to start!  I started pixel art when I was super young and the only art program I had loaded on my computer was MS Paint, and I just played with it a lot when I was bored.  There’s a ton of great tutorials on DeviantArt from back in the day that helped me too.  I know personally I do all my pixel art with a mouse because I was a broke bitch and I didn’t have anything else at the time, and even now that I have a tablet, I still use my mouse on pixel art because I find that it gives me more control in placing things down dot by dot.  Anyway, my biggest advice is that, beyond finding other artists who inspire you, and following a couple tutorials, the best way to improve is practice.  Pixel art is just like any other kind of art, and getting better at it is a process that I’m still working on to this day, too. :)

Hi! You wrote a klance fic where keith was a dragon and I keep thinking about this story all the time because I found the world you created to be so interesting & exciting. So I recently found the fic again and noticed it had been orphaned, which was sad because yeah I was really into the story. But I just wanted to tell you I appreciated it And I don't know why you lost interest but, if you remade this story into an original somdy I would be so down to read it bcs I can't stop thinking about it

This is super sweet of you to say, and oh gosh I’m very very sorry if I took forever to reply to this because this account has been basically dead for over a year.  I am very thankful that you told me this, I’m really sad I ended up disappointing you, and I don’t have any plans on completing or returning to write more of Sweetness of a Storm, and I’m really sorry about that.

Well the long story short is basically that I felt really betrayed by what happened with Voltron as a show in its later seasons, and I didn’t want to create content for something that queer-baited, with the actual gay rep ultimately treated poorly and culminated into nothing.I did have more for Sweetness of a Storm written that I didn’t post, and I recently started doing more on my patreon, so one of the things I have on there is everything I have for SoaS, past and present, including unposted chapters.  I didn’t really ever finish or polish them up, so they’re extremely rough and they hop around a lot, but if you’re interested in reading more that I have written, that’s an option.  I’m not trying to advertise this like “Oh, sorry I ignored your message for a million years (I’m sorry, I never check this inbox), please pay me money.”  If you really really want the chapters and can’t or don’t want to afford them on patreon (fair enough, I too am broke and I Understand), you can contact me on Twitter which I actually routinely check (@bittercalypso) so I can forward you the word doc or I guess try here again and I’ll try to remember to check it.  I just don’t spend any time on my Tumblr here anymore (current art posts aside.  I literally just upload, and abscond.)And as a blanket statement for everyone, I’m more than willing to give another author permission to adopt Sweetness of a Storm if they have ideas on continuing it.

Oct. 31st Update!

I think this is officially my first post!  I wanted to give some updates about where the game is at, and what I’ve been working on.  Sorry I haven’t posted anything since the account was first made, but I needed some time to work up my courage!

As of today, Oct. 31st, B of A is about 1/3 of the way written–and that’s just the script, not the entire coding aspect!  I’m still writing it out, and working on the art in the meantime while I figure out every twist and turn (and every romance)!

The art is about 1/3 done as well; the line-art and basic colors for most of the main talk sprites are complete, with some sprites having multiple outfits and arm positions already!  The background art has been put on the backburner since that’s my weakness.

The battle system is also a work in progress.  It’s a turn-based battle system kind of like pokemon, with items and a variety of attacks based on which character is doing the actions.  I’m ironing out the kinks here with my sister and a lot of help from the Ren'py forums.

The art for the battles has been my most recent priority, and it’s going to be done in pixel art!  I have the battle sprites complete for all five of the playable main characters who engage in the battle system, as well as their basic bounce and blinking animations.

So that’s today’s update!  Pictures coming shortly!

I drew a Keith from the amazing fanfic The Dreaming Dark by @pterodotyl !  This scene in Chapter 11 was so good; I love how freaked out this fanfic makes me and how good the writing is, and I love the science-y bits with the far red spectrum light; something I tried to imitate (poorly) in the gif!

Hi! I'm a Fan of your fanfic "Deep Sea Sinning" I just made a fanart and wanted to make you know about (i guess), I really love how you describe each character and their personality, and am waiting for next chapter! I really want to see Keith and Lance being a "happy family" as long as they can (with all the Lotor thing happening) is Lance family going to met Keith soon?, love your work 💙

In answer to your question, I’m still plowing through the next chapter, but hopefully, I’ll be able to pump it out sooner or later and we’ll see where it’s heading.  Eventually, Keith is going to meet Lance’s family, but there is definitely some plot stuff that needs to go down first.  And yes, I’m hoping to get to all that happy family jazz.  In my first draft of this fic, that was 99% of it, but I decided to through in some plot, and now reconciling the two is gonna be really hard, and it has me stumped!  But thank you so much for all your love!
