checo and yuki would be a fantastic driver duo for cadillac because they both have contributed incredible feedback in helping develop midfield cards AND driving them well. We have the younger/older driver dynamic cadillac wants which leaves yuki as the team leader when checo retires, but they both are incredibly experienced already. these two get along very well as we know since they themselves confirm that checo has always been a huge supporter and fatherly mentor to yuki. they both have HUGE audiences which will bring in the money that a new team desperately needs. and the narrative of it all…. two drivers who fought their way into this sport against white european bias and then were treated like trash by redbull, only to make their comeback together on a new team… cadillac please please please

getting a little emotional thinking about the fact that if alba larsen and joanne ciconte are both able to move up to f3-level championships in 2 years after they finish f1 academy they will actually be the same age as a lot of the boys competing. like im so happy that abbi is in gb3 (and im looking forward to doriane and some of the others moving up next year) but she’s 22 while most of the drivers are 16-18 and a handful are 19-20. but alba and joanne are 16 right now so in they would be 18 if they move up in 2027 and idk it’s just making me really emotional? like that is the whole point of f1 academy we are literally seeing it achieve its purpose before our very eyes
