Ooh, I have a concept for an AU:

A Role reversal, where Jayce dies in the Council chamber instead of Viktor, and Viktor fuses him with the Hexcore in an act of desperation.

How it goes from there is up to you-as long as it's emotionally-devastating.

I LOVE that idea but I’m pretty sure I’ve seen someone execute this exact concept in a comic/fanart, and honestly I don’t think I could do a better job than them. I forgot their username but it’s really great, wish I could link it. If I remember later I’ll edit this post.

And he’s still actively going… HE IS the villain and honestly Jayce is down too bad because if anyone broke my leg and made me eat lizards I would punch them in the face. Imagine if he was ugly… the audiences would feel very differently I bet

Sometimes I wonder… what if mage Viktor’s Jayce had not fought him? As far as we know Jayce never fell in the hole, so it’s possible that he simply surrendered to his Viktor.
