As i was finishing the Serbism Iconostasis after many months of work, i felt that there was a lot more to be said about contemporary Serbian society. This one is called Serbocommunism, and it explored the history of Yugoslavia as a socialist country. This work is titled "Holy Franchise", made for this years exhibition-"Buy it All, Eat it All"- which took place in Dio Horia gallery, Mykonos, Greece, in August. It features my archetype of the Politician and it is analysis of contemporary consumerist society. I used style of traditional orthodox Icons with traditional materials, and combined them with modern themes and visual styles like pop art and pop surrealism, relying on dark humor, satire and irony.
