Saw a cool vid on Instagram about this series, only to find that it has been from all streaming and vid platforms in the U.S. Went down a rabbit hole and saw that it was canceled and removed in a manner that is disturbing.

The idea that you need to connect with a main character(s) to enjoy a story baffles me. I completely understand and believe in the want/need of representation. If I'm watching a space opera and see a whole bunch of different aliens and species, along with humanity...and not see even one dark skinned character? 😒 Yeah...you know. But, being relatable or not shouldn't be a factor if something is good or bad (even though I see that it is for quite a lot of people).

Soon after seeing Stray Cat Strut audiobook 6 coming out, I see Mob Sorcery audiobook 3 has come out...there goes my next few days. Apologies to my family!

This series had been quirky and fun in equal measure. Great audiobook to listen to in the background...If I only knew how much books and audiobooks would claim my soul. Pretty much dropped my anime and manga consumption by 95%.

On the second episode of Ironheart. Got to admit that I'm enjoying it so far. It's more colorful than what im used to, but the story is really good so far.

If there were one series, in 2025, that I had to pick as the one to set the standard of what a "Great" "Romance For Men" series should look like, it would be this. This is just.so.good. Enjoyable, funny, moving, and intriguing. But, you HAVE to listen to it on audiobook. Just as I believe that there are some anime that you have to experience either dub or sub, there are some books that are best read and others that are best listened to...this is a series where you should listen, or both read and listen.

One, I'd guess you'd call "trope" I enjoy is when "One struggles in one world, but is peerless in the other."

Solo-Leveling is a good example. When Jinwoo is dealing with monsters in portal realms or dungeons, he fights to his last breath. Barely coming out on top by the skin of his teeth, you see the action and skills being used at their highest potential. That's world number 1. In world number 2, where the humans and adventurers reside, it's barely a challenge. You see the true scope of how far Jinwoo has climbed in relation to the world around him. People who were serious threats before have become minor or irrelevant because the true threats have always resided in realms so far beyond what the "modern" populace viewed as strong. You get to enjoy the struggle of seeing the MC grow strong, and still have to put their all to win and grow stronger. At the same time, you can still take a hit of that Power Fantasy joint, as it complements an already enjoyable story.

Finished book 2 of Syl (loved it), now on to the audiobook of Azarinth Healer. Good lord these voice-actors have spoiled me. Both stories are all about the journey and exploring, with Syl being more laid-back and Azarinth Healer is more action pack. Enjoy both LitRPGs in their own way.

Celestine Chronicles is still one of my top 3 favorite HaremLit series ever written. T.A.P is also a top 10 HaremLit series. Both are written by the same author. Unfortunately, this same author hasn't written a sequel book in almost 4 years. Kind of depressed about that, but at least I got CC.
