Announcement: Closing

Greetings to all current, remaining members of Amaranth. Today, we bring you one final announcement:

It is with a heavy heart that we announce that, as of today, Amaranth will be shut down. The masterlist blog will cease all activities.

We, as the mods, have reached this decision. Activity in the group has been declining in activity and become very slow for a very long time. Be it due to OOC business or lack of interest, the general interest in the group has faded out.

To those of you who were here in the past and made it enjoyable, to those of you who remain, for anyone who contributed to make Amaranth what it is, we would like to thank you. We hope you’ve enjoyed your time here, no matter how short or long it has been.

Welcome to Obsian, a city far beneath the Earth. Presumably beneath the Earth. It’s not as though there’s any way to be sure, what with being entirely closed off from the surface.

As if it wasn’t bad enough to find yourself stolen by a subterranean city teeming with magic, secrets and mysterious, possibly malicious rulers, there’s a new mark on your chest, right above your heart, connecting you with another resident of the city. You’ll feel their pain, physical or otherwise, along with everything else. Of course, you’ll feel theirs, too. In a city like this, and with no way to know who you’re connected to, that could be a problem.
