I am so utterly alone.

Because I live alone and am chronically ill, I worry about how long it would take for someone to find me if I passed unexpectedly. I've started leaving out extra water bowls for my dog and have made sure he can get to some of his food bags if he needs to.

My life will forever be triaged as low priority within the system. Then something about staying hopeful or not giving up will be parroted to me by people who do not realize just how much their well-intended words push me down further. End my suffering. Please.

The above is a painting of David Bowie as Ziggy Stardust that I completed last month. It is now hung up with "The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust" record I found at a garage sale last summer.

I've been forcing myself to diy decorate my apartment since December to try and improve my mental well-being. My chronic pain and fatigue limit what I can do, but I've found some consistent comfort in painting.

Even when I absolutely hate it and feel frustrated with the artistic process, I know it is at least helping me avoid bedrotting.

I have redownloaded tumblr in an attempt to see if my teenage outlet is what I so desperately need in my adult life. I created my first tumblr in 2013. I think the last time I would have been semi-active was 2018ish. The nostalgia feels nice, but let's see what comes of it.
