NCECA multicultural fellowship exhibition. 60 works by 26 artists were reviewed, and juror, Jennifer Ling Datchuk, selected 18 works from just 14 artists. Sometimes, I really have to let information like that settle in. I am very honored and grateful. Wish I could see the exhibition in person, but im not keen on flying while pregnant , especially not right now. I know my piece is in the company of some veery incredible art works- all of which have been brought together due to a call for greater diversity at the NCECA conferences by Theaster Gates. What an incredible legacy. No matter what happens - this happened. It will continue to be a battle. But I'm glad to be included today.

Some things take a long time. My art processes of choice have taught me that. My current state is teaching me that. I have to have grace with myself and the process and the pace of the progress.
