First Star

I've been working on a guilty pleasure project this week, so I made this in a couple of hours on Wednesday. Thus, it's a bit messier than I'd like.

I came up with this pose while driving when Pearl by the Mamas and the Papas came on. I've been catching up with the English physicals of Yona (just have one volume left to read), so I decided to make some Yona fanart. Personally, I think the pose suits Yona since she's always reaching for her dreams.

This also felt like a consolidation for the illustration I made for her birthday this year. I went through a patch where I got rid of texture in my art, so I am not too proud of her birthday drawing.

Anyway, I love Yona. I want merch. And a artbook. Highly doubt Viz will ever give us such luxuries. I still wish I could've gone to the Yona Art Exhibition. A girl can dream.

My friends were making gijinkas (humanized objects), so I made one as well. I decided to make one of my blanket, who I've named "Bankey". Creative, I know. Anyway, she's always seepy and will definitely fall asleep while you talk to her. Good news(?) is that she'll dream of the conversation as you talk.

Illustration I did of my OC, Melody. I felt like doing another silhouette drawing like I did a few months ago, so I did another one. Love the noise affect. 10/10 would recommend.

Sunflower

Another illustration where I made the thumbnail while listening to Karma. Guys, I'm not joking. It's been two weeks help--

Anyway, OC is my friend's @justghostsribbles. I tend to have trouble simplifying backgrounds like this, so this was fun to practice. I am happy with how this one turned out. I've been experimenting with coloring in watercolors, so it was nice to do my normal coloring.
