Time management is very important for everyone, it is good to enjoy yourself and play games but do what needs to be done or you’ll be buried under the pile of tasks you have ignored. It is good to study or work but find time to do something you enjoy, or you’ll burn yourself out. If we pour all our time on one thing whether it be something we enjoy or not, we may lose the chance to explore the world around us and find things that we may want to do. We can’t turn back time so we must manage our time properly to do the things we need and do the things we want.

Importance of being a media and information literate individual

Greetings, In this age of technology, where different kinds of news or knowledge whether true or false spreads around the world with just a click, it is important for us to be a media and information literate. Being able to utilize every bit of information that you can acquire from the internet or other sources can help ease our everyday life. Not having the proper knowledge and skills to utilize media and information may expose you to the dangers of absorbing false information which could damage your mental and physical condition. Additionally, when there is something you don’t know, it will be much easier for you to look for the information you needed just by searching through the net, just be aware that not everything that you will find there is not necessarily the truth, first you must know if the source of the information you found is a trusted source because as I said false information may harm you, maybe not directly but it will affect your future decisions. Knowing the importance of being media and information literate we must not forget that media and information literacy is not something that we learn instantly, it is something that we learn as we experience it through our constant interactions with it, keeping that in mind, we don’t need to rush ourselves to learn it immediately, rather, we should take our time, carefully absorbing every bits and pieces of it and when the time comes that we are fully capable of utilizing media and information effectively can we say that we are truly a Media and Information literate individual.

Konnichiwa minna-san! I’m Andrei Christopher E. de Guzman or Ace, 17 years old. I’m something that other people would call a “Weeb” or an “Otaku”. I like watching anime, reading manga webtoon, and a few novels, listening music, cooking, recently I got into brewing coffee. I like the color black, don’t be surprised when you see almost all my belonging coated in black. I live in Bacoor, Cavite in Philippines. I might seem a quiet with very few words person, but when I get to be with someone who shares the same interest as me I become a talking machine.

People might get confused why my blog’s title is To Be Decided, don’t worry its actually the title. I decided that title because I think it is similar to the state on what I am currently while I’m writing this post, undecided. I don’t really have a solid image of what I want to be in the future. I have one, or two ideas of what I want in the future, one of them is making my own coffee shop that’s why I’m trying to learn some basics in business and maybe later about cooking, baking and related stuff, the other one is a secret.
