loralyxdavies:
Loraly lifted her hand to gently take the one that was hanging over her shoulders. She didn’t know what she would do if Andrew wasn’t here with her. She had a strong feeling that he didn’t really want to discuss Jennifer, but she couldn’t help it. “I miss her.” A sigh left her lips before he tried to lighten the mood and she nodded. “I’m sure it’ll be fine. And you’d better. You can crash whenever you’d like.” He’d get the bed, of course, seeing as sleep wasn’t really a requirement for her.
Tumblr media
He sighed, turning to press a kiss against her head. “I know, Lor. I do too.” Andrew had spent his time trying not to think about Jennifer, or the fact that he would have a child somewhere in the world that he might not even be able to meet. “I wish this wasn’t our life, but we can do the most with what we’ve go, right?”

daniel-abbott:
“Well, well. Andrew Davies.” Daniel chuckled as the other made his way over to him.  The Hufflepuff moved to pull out the chair across from him and smiled up, “It really has been a long time, huh?” he signaled to the seat, “Sit down and share a drink with me.” A chuckle surpassed his lips, “I’ve been all right, and yourself?”
Tumblr media
He wasted no time in joining the other guy, moving around the table to sit down across from him. “I don’t think I’ve seen you since we left Hogwarts,” he said with a chuckle. “I guess we’ve both been off in our own worlds, then? I’ve as good as I can be.” His smile faded slightly as he thought about Jennifer.

daniel-abbott:.
Daniel had spent most of his time as of late on the Quidditch pitch. From practice, to more games of the season, it was easy to get swept up and beyond busy. No time for family, let alone friends. Feeling he had been missing out, the Hufflepuff made his way to the Leaky Cauldron. A good, warm wine always helped when need be.
Tumblr media
He’d spent far too much time at the Leaky Cauldron than should have been necessary, but it was easier to make conversation with a few drinks in him. Andrew made his way to the bar, ordering a firewhiskey before scanning the room. Once he spotted Daniel, he took the glass and made his was over, patting the other guy on the back. “Hey, mate, how’ve you been?”

loralyxdavies:
Loraly looked around the living room that was now full of boxes. Compared to most, she imagined she had half the stuff other did. But in the small space it looked like she had plenty. “Please, this is nothing. It’s mostly clothes and books, anyways. Not like I need much else.” While packing up her things, it had become abundantly clear that she had no hobbies aside from reading and hiking. So aside from her clothes, books, and a few extra bits here and there, she really didn’t have much at all. “It’ll be weird leaving this place… even if I was only here for a few months.”
Tumblr media
He stepped around a few of the boxes and draped and arm over her shoulders, his smile fading a bit. “I don’t think it matters how long you’ve been here...You still have memories tied here.” Andrew didn’t want to think about Jennifer leaving, but it felt like a weight still on his shoulders. He tried to make the conversation a little bit more light-hearted, chuckling as he looked over at her. “But I’m sure you’ll love the new place--I’ll even come visit you all the time.”

Andrew knew he should’ve made more of an effort to see his cousin, but everything had happened all at once and he wasn’t sure how to handle it. Helping Loraly move out of her old apartment seemed like the best way to start back up. He looked around the room at all the boxes they’d accumulated and took a deep breath. “Damn, Lor, how much stuff do you have?”

He’d made his way into the shops pretty early in the morning. Half in part because he wanted to read the Prophet, and the other half because he wanted to see the aftermath of the pub crawl. Andrew’s eye was drawn to a girl with blue hair, slightly curious how that had happened. “I mean, it’s not bad. I’m sure there’s a great story to go along with it.”
Tumblr media
Iliana held a strand of hair in front of her for inspection pursing her lips as she looked it over. To say she was surprised to wake up with blue hair after the pub crawl was an understatement. Before she was about to try any spells to reverse it she badly needed some caffeine which was why she had stumbled her way to one of the coffee shops blue hair and all. Dropping the strand with a sigh she took a sip of the coffee noticing a curious gaze on her. “Apparently I got my hair styled last night,” she made a bit of a face. “Not sure if I can pull it off, what do you think?”

As soon as Loraly asked him what he wanted, he knew teasing her would be a horrible idea. “A smile?” Andrew laughed and held his hands up in surrender before continuing. “I’m kidding--I just want a firewhiskey, please.”
Tumblr media
Loraly hadn’t been pleased when she’d heard her pub was taking part of the pub crawl. The one thing that made it somewhat okay was the fact that they were the first pub, so presumably, most people wouldn’t be completely trashed. She was on waitressing duty for now, but was told if things got a bit crazier, she’d be asked to help behind the bar. “What can I get you?”

Andrew had kept to himself for the most part, not quite sure if he wanted to start a conversation with someone drunk out of their mind. The voice from the barstool next to him shook him from his thoughts and he turned to look at her. He chuckled and dipped his chin to his chest. “You don’t have to flirt to get a drink.” Andrew flagged the bartender down. “All you have to do is ask.”
Tumblr media
Rhea immediately regretted taking part in this stupid thing the moment she walked into the bar, already overflowing with all sorts of people drunk out of their minds. She had to make a considered effort to keep from rolling her eyes, bristling every time someone’s arms brushed hers and bumped into as she made her way to the bar. “Dammit.” She muttered, realizing she’d left all her money back at her apartment, and she had not come all this way to go leave without having had a single drink. She turned to the person beside her, batting her eyelashes and said in sugary sweet voice that made her queasy, “What’s a girl gotta do to get a drink around here?”

Andrew picked up the pint of beer next to hers and smiled widely. “So what are you going to cheers to with these drinks?”
Tumblr media
“So here’s the thing.” Alice spoke up as she finally got a pint of beer in hand, turning to the person at her side. “I’ve made a pact that I would cheers to something different each drink, with somebody different, and I believe we have yet to share a drink.”

knock knock
14. Your character walking in on mine in the middle of a mental breakdown.
It wasn’t very often that Andrew still had nightmares about his brother’s murder. It’d been about a year, but his need for revenge had over taken his need to grieve. The desperation he’d felt after Simon had gone missing was un paralleled to anything he had felt.
Until Dominique had gone missing.
She’d already been brought back home, but the fear still gripped his heart, he still woke every morning worried that her coming home was a dream and he would wake to a nightmare.
His chest felt tight as he paced the room. Dom was late to meeting him and he was gripped with anxiety. Of course it was unlikely she had been kidnapped again, but these intrusive thoughts never took that into account.
A knock on the door startled him from his thoughts and he crossed the room in four big steps, opening the door and immediately wrapping his arms around her.
“Wha--Andrew?” It was hard to breath, and the only thing that could lessen the pain in his chest was making sure she was truly in front of him. “What’s wrong?”
It took a few moments for him to realize he was crying. His world was crashing down around him and for what? The mere thought that she was gone? Sobs seized his body and he pulled away, hands resting on her cheeks, fingers dancing over her cheekbones and her hair.
“I-I...I t-though yo-you...” Andrew couldn’t pull himself together, which felt like a first. He was the rock, the shoulder to cry on, but it had all been too much. “You...were g-gone again.”
“Oh, Andrew...” She wrapped her arms around his waist, and he looked over her shoulder, just watching his hands shaking. Trying to get them to stop, he placed them flat on her back and pulled her as close as he could, breathing her in. “I’m still here. I...I could never leave you.”
The hesitation in her voice worried him, but he focused on leveling his breathing. Andrew couldn’t lose another person to this world, especially not Dom. The short time she was at beauxbatons had been the worst of his life. On top of finding out about Simon, Dom hadn’t been there and he wasn’t sure how to react. So he didn’t. Now, everything was pushing in on him and he could feel his own limbs.
They both stood in the hallway, Dom’s hands wrapped tightly around his waist as if to remind him that he wasn’t alone--she was still alive. By the time the numbness had faded and he felt the tears drying on his cheeks, he pulled away, hands resting on either side of her face.
“Don’t leave again...please.” The words were desperate as he choked on them and he knew she could never promise something like that, but he asked anyways. A look crossed her face, but he couldn’t read it. For the first time, he didn’t know what she was thinking.
“Never,” she finally said, and the force gripping his heart released. “Not again.”

11. Your character walking in on mine waiting in bed for them.
Andrew had always thought about it in the back of his mind. He hadn’t remembered that night, but he remembered waking up next to Faye. They’d wandered away from a party and he had always told himself nothing had happened, but he couldn’t lie to himself. He could get away from the knowledge that he didn’t know.
He sat on Faye’s bed, elbows resting on his knees and hands clasped together. Every bone in his body told him to ignore it and just walk away--never bring it up again--but his moral compass told him that he couldn’t keep acting like it never happened.
As soon as the door opened, Andrew’s head shot up to see who had walked in. As soon as he saw Faye, he stood up.
“Rapunzel?” He smirked at the nickname and shook his head. “What are you doing in my room?”
“Something tells me I’m never going to get rid of that nickname.” Letting his had scratch the back of his neck, he tried to find a way to bring up what he wanted to talk about.
“Spit it out.” Andrew watched her for a moment, followed her movement as she closed the door and set her things down.
“We need to actually talk about what happened when we left the party.” His hand dropped back to his side as he tried to read her expression. Faye raised an eyebrow, but didn’t speak, making it increasingly harder to want to stay and continue the conversation.
“What about it?”
The indifference in her voice aggravated him, but he shook his head, groaning. “This isn’t bothering you in the slightest?”
“There’s nothing to be bothered about.” He watched her shrug, then move to the door, opening it back up. “Believe me, you’d know.”
Andrew watched her in silence, wondering how she could be so sure. After a moment, he picked up his bag and walked out the door.

“Blondie, though completely unoriginal and uninspired, is better,” Faye nodded, confirming the one nickname trumped the old. Walking beside him now, she looked up, brow furrowed at his next words. “Is your absentee girlfriend supposed to make me feel better about the age difference thing or my dad dead?” She asked bluntly, then cocked her head. “Either way, how exactly did you think that was supposed to make me feel better? You can’t keep a girlfriend. So what?”
Tumblr media
“No, but I figured making fun of my inability to keep a girlfriend would make you feel a little better.” He shrugged. “Maybe it’ll distract you for a while? You’re a very hard person to try and help, so I’m offering what I can.”

“Accurate. Don’t want to talk about it. It’s mentioned. Moving on.” It was better to just put it all out on the table. Address the elephant so that it wasn’t just sitting there. Now they could continue forward figuratively- and literally, apparently. But as Andrew started to lead the way, Faye stood rooted in her spot, fixing him with a critical glare. “Yea, you’re going to have to drop that ‘kid’ thing.” Then, a quick few first steps, she settled into place walking beside him. “You’re only a year older.”
Tumblr media
Andrew raised his arms up next to his head, turning to watch as she caught up with him. “Would blondie be better,” he asked with a small chuckle, dropping his hands back down. “If it makes you feel better, my girlfriend left, so.” He chose to leave out the reason why Jennifer had left, not wanting to dwell on the fact that there was going to be a child of his that he wasn’t going to see grow up. “So poke fun all you want.”

He smirked at the nickname, but didn't try to think of an equally snarky response. "No, I've seen The Prophet, I just figured you'd say something if you wanted to talk about it." He pushed the strap of the bag higher up on his shoulder and motioned his head down the street. There wasn't anything saying she'd walk with him, but he remembered talking with her at Hogwarts and knew there was probably more to her than the surface facade. "Come on, kid."
andrew-davies:
His eyebrow raised slightly at her words. Nothing you need to be informed about. He tried not to think too much on the implication of what she said, choosing to move on to another topic. “Skiving off work? I don’t think they’ll be too happy with you about that, but I can’t say I’m surprised.” Andrew felt his eyes narrow. “You seem more high strung than the last time I saw you. I’m guessing it’s not work related if you’ve been skipping.”
Tumblr media
“A very astute observation, Rapunzel,” she commented, a certain snark to her voice. It didn’t help that she was already in an off-mood, his narrowed eyes doing no favor to help. “I guess you don’t read the Prophet much.” That was as much as Faye would give him in regards to the truth. Work at been the last place she’d been when her father was alive. Most days she could stomach it. Not today. No amount of ice cream could make it better.

Tumblr media
“I recognize the name,” he said with a small chuckle, letting his chin duck to his chest for a few seconds. “Let’s just say I’ve I had a lot on my mind the last year. I apologize if I’ve offended you, Aislinn.”

“Injured, huh?” She parroted, no longer looking at the bag but inspecting him instead, searching for a noticeable injury. What she wasn’t sure, but Faye would put her money on it being from the attack. Even if he didn’t seem the type for Knockturn. “Nothing you need to be informed about,” Faye answered him, finally snapped her eyes up to him to fix him with a confident stare. What was going on between her and her mother was her own business, and the small few she could rely on. Him not included. “Just walking. Skiving off of work. Normal stuff.”

fayetravers:
Faye had skipped out on work. She had actually meant to go, even walked by the shop but when she did she couldn’t mind the drive to go in. After speaking with Audelia, the thought of speaking with her mother had been weighing on her. She knew she needed to. When she would get the chance was another story. Too preoccupied with her thoughts, she had spaced out as she walked, leading her to collide with Andrew. “Sorry,” she blurted the same time he did, backtracking a couple steps to see the  other half of the collision. “Oh, haven’t seen you in awhile. Been living in a locker room?” She asked, her eyes trailing down at the bag he carried.
Tumblr media
He was surprised to see the younger girl as soon as he’d steadied himself. “Faye. Hello.” Andrew gave her a confused look, but followed her eyes down to the bag in his hand. “Just about,” he said with a chuckle. “Trying to get back into training, but it doesn’t real work if you’re still injured. What’s on your mind, blondie?”
