Looking forward to getting back to work on, TRADES PAINTERS, a collaborative effort with @boobytrendy to do with our day jobs as house painters for @straight_edge_painting between 2019 and 2021. As labour becomes increasingly automated, performed remotely, and/or is otherwise being rendered unrecognizable, TRADES PAINTERS is a consideration of how both arts and trades labour are ascribed value in the present economy, and the difficulties that arise during this process as that value is negotiated between ‘professionals�� and ‘laypersons’.
