I didn't get the whole "being trans is a medical condition" thing because I thought of it as a mental condition, and calling mental illnesses "medical conditions" (something I think of as as physical) seems confusing, but, like, it's not wrong. How many mental illnesses have physical effects and can be treated with physical treatments and medication? A lot! Mental illnesses can be considered medical conditions!

So maybe. Maybe thinking about it as a mental illness that can be treated with drugs/surgery would be better for me.
