I heard some rumors regarding his design choice.
First he didn't go with a more classic look because superman will become public domain in some years. That is why he went with a more "modern" design choice.
he is a fan of new 52.
Whatever for what I get of his plan is that and may be building up for Kingdom Come to be in this universe the " Avengers endgame" and that is why he introduced some "anti heroes" already in his movie, clois also is already a thing on the movie, and is almost a law in movies that relationships that already started together in movies or shows don't end up together.
Whatever (2x) it all can go down bad because this movie needs to reach 1b lfmao

Hey, Guys.
I'm kind of confused here.
What is this? By the collar and thickness, the suit seems the Kryptonian armor like suit Supes was wearing during the New 52 (when Kal was with Diana),

but the addition of the red panties makes it look like when you use a speedo over a jean: completely out of place: thinner fabric over thick fabrick. On the other side is the S on his chest: reminesing the one of Kingdom Come (when Kal ended up with Diana).

But there's no mention of Wonder Woman appearing at all in the film. Lots of unnecessary other heroes, but not Diana.
So...which is the message Gunn is trying to convey here? Is he trying at all or is he as confused as I am right now?
Does he want to confuse us? You know, a confused audience is easier to rob.
Why all the hints to when Supes and Wondy were together, when we know there's no chance at all of that here?
Is Gunn a Superwonder fan still in the closet? C'mon, man: it's the 21st Century! Live your truth with pride!
I'm sure the movie will have a script belonging to the seventies still, but all those signs are very, and I mean very, confusing.
The other possibility is Gunn has no idea what he's doing.Yeah...I guess that's it.
I blame DC lack of direction, which leads to this ad lib approach of filmmakers to the main character's suit.

For those who reading a physical copy, if you hold up a final page to the light, you'll see "Martianvision", which create the overlay of Agent Jones and the Martian Mind****er.

Many people abhor Alicent as a character because she depicts the most vulnerable parts of femininity people love to deny exists. Many would rather turn to a ready-made girlboss who is shown to (presumably) have no weaknesses than to identify the realistic feminine struggles they face daily.
For me, Alicent is a representation of raw female vulnerability and that's not a bad thing. What is thrilling is that we actually get to see the journey of her rising from the pits of her oppression, sharpening up and hardening into the steely Dowager Queen she later becomes.
I can appreciate that two different sides of femininity are being depicted in the story of HOTD: Alicent's and Rhaenyra. But I just find Alicent's story more moving.

“When learning to draw anything,” animators Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston observe, “it is important that the artist go to the source. Afterward he can make any use of his knowledge that he chooses, but in the beginning he must study the real object. Nothing matches the learning that comes from feeling an animal’s bones and muscles and joints, to discover how they are put together and how far they can move in any direction; it is always surprising.”

Someone pointed out that Daemon putting his hand up, closing in on Rhea's horse was to actually scare the animal. Horses have a strong sense of smell. And Daemon came there on dragon back, so he reeked of dragon (like Rhaenyra's told by her mom in episode 1 after returning from riding).
Rhea even kept looking around in search of Caraxes, thinking that Daemon wanted to burn her to a crisp. But Daemon couldn't risk landing Caraxes anywhere near there as evidence of his being there. So he walked out to meet her, stinking of dragon.
Putting that into perspective it's very possible that Daemon wasn't trying to calm the horse. He was trying to agitate it.
