Hila

Isang punit sa katotohanan

maghahanap ng mali

pipilitin, pinipilit

kahit isang maliit na butas

na kapag napuna

papalakihin, wawarakin

papasukan,

kahit walang kinalaman

Magdidingas ng apoy,

Upang lumikha ng usok.

Para  ika'y mataboy

ng isang baboy .

Na gumuguhit na

ang ngiti sa labi ng

ulong bakante sa loob

nagbabadya

na may mangyayari

Paparatangin kahit hindi wasto

pipilitin maging husto

babaliktarin ang tama

sisiguraduhing

makakagawa ng gulo.

Magtatawanan,malakas

hindi mahina

ngunit tama ang inaakala

nakadapo na ang

mga pangil at wala ka ng kawala

mananahimik,

bubusalin ang bibig

tinitikom ang mga nagwawalang

salita na kanina pa naglalaro sa dila.

Lalagyan ng salita

ang bawat gawa,

hihilain ka nila papababa

hangang humandusay ka na sa lupa.

A fool clothed himself a King, still a fool!

The Clown

Never seen him frown,

The old guy from the town,

Even when he feels down,

His hat was his crown,

He wears it a lot of time,

To hide the pain inside his mind.

He put a paint on his face,

Thinking a tear would be a disgrace,

He, envy your smiles,

So he goes miles,

To see those for awhile.

Never spoken words,

Kept it from his world,

Sometimes he tries to be bold,

But he doesn't want to be odd,

He forgets he's old.

The irony of life I guess.

They say it's cliche/shallow to write something for a clown

this is for my friend who always seems to be happy

but broken inside.

Not really a poet  nor a writer
