I've been resource gathering for YEARS so now I am going to share my dragons hoard

Floorplanner. Design and furnish a house for you to use for having a consistent background in your comic or anything! Free, you need an account, easy to use, and you can save multiple houses.

Comparing Heights. Input the heights of characters to see what the different is between them. Great for keeping consistency. Free.

Magma. Draw online with friends in real time. Great for practice or hanging out. Free, paid plan available, account preferred.

Smithsonian Open Access. Loads of free images. Free.

SketchDaily. Lots of pose references, massive library, is set on a timer so you can practice quick figure drawing. Free.

SculptGL. A sculpting tool which I am yet to master, but you should be able to make whatever 3d object you like with it. free.

Pexels. Free stock images. And the search engine is actually pretty good at pulling up what you want.

Figurosity. Great pose references, diverse body types, lots of "how to draw" videos directly on the site, the models are 3d and you can rotate the angle, but you can't make custom poses or edit body proportions. Free, account option, paid plans available.

Line of Action. More drawing references, this one also has a focus on expressions, hands/feet, animals, landscapes. Free.

Animal Photo. You pose a 3d skull model and select an animal species, and they give you a bunch of photo references for that animal at that angle. Super handy. Free.

Height Weight Chart. You ever see an OC listed as having a certain weight but then they look Wildly different than the number suggests? Well here's a site to avoid that! It shows real people at different weights and heights to give you a better idea of what these abstract numbers all look like. Free to use.

Teamed up with the AMAZING @immachhoa and made the storyboards for the LEGO Monkie Kid S3 intro!

We bounced thumbnail ideas off each other and split the clean pass in half.

This is what I’ve been working on! Proper character profiles for everyone!

Naturally their personalities are a lot more intricate than just simple lists, but I wanted to make their core traits clear. I also used the opportunity to update a couple designs and give them new outfits. Since the reboot is a very character driven story, I wanted to be sure of who everyone is.

Hope this info is helpful to y’all! And don’t worry, I’m doing more than just these guys. I doubt you guys would let me live if I didn’t do Luka and Kagami hahaha XD

Watch Lego Monkie Kid

Why you should watch Lego Monkie Kid.

Loveable and relatable characters.

Intriguing plot

Amazing and well writen villains

Well rounded characters

Characters are flawed.

Amazing and breathtaking animation.

Action packed

It has good humor

Coherent plotline

It's fun to watch.

Sure the characters aren't the most deep heart wreching thing but they are nuanced in their own ways and are interesting.

The designs of the characters are beautiful.

Cool worldbuilding

Non-contrived conflict

Nice resolutions

Some characters have amazing character development.

Loveable and tolerable main characters, like you love the main character and not love a side character or even the villain more.

The story is not drawn out, there's like 10 episodes for each season and there are currently 3 seasons.

It's based of Journey to the West, if you're a fan you might enjoy the series.

You still understand the story even if you don't know what Journey of the West is.

It's a hero journey story if you enjoy that.

Cause I said so, but really, you should watch Lego Monkie Kid, it's amazing if you like action packed, adventure and fantasy stories.

So I’ve heard but I’m not completely sure. There’s four more episodes to come out for Season 3 though

I like this little moment of silence in this scene in the Garden of Celestian Realm.

Just look at them! Their faces speak for them!

Firstly we have Mei who looks really surprised to see Red Son not yelling or being a chaotic mess. He's just worried about his dad, you know, like a human, like a son who loves his parent. She's realizing that demon has life, thoughts and feelings other than destroying and killing. That he can love or be hurt.

And after that moment she stops being suspicious about him and starts to trust him and help him.

And on the other hand, Red Son is surprised to see someone stops and actually listens to him.

He is so confused that Mei says nothing, just stands and listens. That is the very first time someone gives him a little bit of selfless attention. He begged for the attention for such a long time without any results, he's so confused when he already gets it from a stranger/enemy girl.

And since then, he stops using the word "peasants", he stops trying so hard to be the leader and to have everyone's attention. He's more in the background. He becomes a little bit more humble.

It was only a few second of silence, but they both change a lot.

Mei from being violent and suspicious:

To being supportive and caring:

And Red Son from playing hero for being in the center:

To being an actual hero by helping in the background:

Conclusion? Well, you can call it "over-analyze", but hear me out! It's not only about their bonding. It's about Red Son becoming a hero after realizing that to gets someone's attention and respect he has to be true himself. It's about Mei realizing that even a demon is a person, even an enemy has feelings, that people who hurt also can love and be hurt. She forgave him and he grew humble and true.

This silence of realization makes a little spark between them and I love it endlessly
