concept that just entered my brain:

a pirate character, but instead of being pirate/medieval/whatever-themed, they are modern-themed, perhaps even futuristic. this is because this pirate is based on literal, modern piracy, in the sense of downloading things off the internet for free, regardless of whether or not someone wants you to.

anwyays PT is a normal/ground glitch pokemon exclusive to Red/Blue that, when onbtained using the Mew glitch, causes the game to straight-up freeze. instead you gotta use the time capsule exploit with a feraligatr OR have a "u" (separate glitch pokemon exclusive to Yellow) traded over to Red/Blue to turn it into a PT. its a very obscure pokemon that i dont think has been mentioned like maybe ever. interesting, isn't it? interesting that evryone simply forgot about her the second she came into hbeing.

Random headcanon that Grillby and Gaster were nonverbal best bros and Gaster would sometimes call Grillby on his cell phone just to silently hold the phone to his face. Grillby thought it was pretty bizarre but Gaster seemed to like doing it so he never hung up on him, he’d just wait a couple minutes for Gaster to hang up. 

He got used to it after a while. It was almost like having a conversation–Gaster could hear the ambient noise at Grillby’s and a bit of his crackle, Grillby could hear whatever Gaster was working on at the moment. Gaster often made a point of calling when he was near something with a distinctive sound. Grillby has several voice messages saved on his phone which are chisp bags and papers rattling, melodic water noises from an echo cavern in Waterfall, at least three different types of machinery running, and light footsteps with crackling distortions of sound from wind hitting the receiver. He’s not sure why they’re on his phone but he never deletes them. 

When Gaster gets out of the Void he is given a special MTT-Brand rectangular pink smartphone by a friendly robot (who is doing a giveaway to spark interest in the glamorous new phone line) and immediately calls Grillby’s number. It’s the same. Grillby picks up and waits a few seconds. Then he hangs up. 

He doesn’t remember.
