The anhedonia is running me over AND backing over me repeatedly since it didn’t finish the job the first time. As such, I’ve been falling into some nasty habits for the promise of a crumb of “ah, this is nice” from my brain.

I’ve fallen prey to absolute mindless scrolling on tumblr (since it’s effectively the only social I use) and it is becoming more of a compulsion than even an escape which is really messing with me. So, I’m going to step back and leave tumblr for a bit while I work on myself, my focus, and try to find things that bring me genuine joy again.

This has been a long time coming, frankly, but I’ve been a bit delulu since late last year thinking it wasn’t as bad as it is.

I hope you guys keep doing your thing! I love you, moots, and I hope you all take care of yourselves.

So, I’ve been having struggles. And after said struggles, deleting mods, a fresh install, and cautiously adding things back in - my game is functional again! RIP to my first 2 bugged-all-to-hell colonies, I hardly knew ye 🥲

Randy dropped two Ancient Dangers on the map and we’re going to build almost right on top of one of them. Good luck, kids!

I already have a layout (kind of) pre-planned so the temporary base of operations is the site of the colony’s future freezer.

Randy conjured up a cold snap almost immediately in celebration of the freezer… and promptly dropped a shuttle, too! Of the five onboard, only two survived and joined.

WELP, new blog because I now have all 4 RimWorld DLC, no idea wtf I’m doing after 300+ hours of play time, and the burning desire to watch these beloved little idiots do or die on the Rim.
