oh hi! on a break with my usual art posting, so i came here to do something i like very much, a good old fancasting! and today, we are choosing the cast for The Arcana!

keep in mind this is just a little fun i'm having, and i'm also not sold entirely on all these. if you have any other casting choices i'd love to know!

May 15th was the birthday of my The Arcana MC , and since his creation in 2020 i feel like i never did anything for it! Better late then never!

(and he is my very favorite oc i ever created sorry all others)

This year I've been rekindling my relationship with the game, been replaying, drawing and falling in love with Muriel all over again!!!

Mnemosiel's patron Arcana is DEATH, and thats what the butterfly mottos / his familiar Gideon come from!

it just happens to be my favorite tarot card as well!

he aint scared of that death shit! come at him!!!

oh hey traveler! so, I did this one for a Medieval Art Contest from my design course, and I didn't really know what part of the Medieval collective I should touch upon... until deciding on the fairy tale aspect! more fun anyway.

I really want to try some other things from the genre one day, like knights (oh god the armors... so much work) and more magical pieces, this one came very simple. which I like!

in the beggining I aimed for either a renaissance painting style, then a simpler watercolorish, until it just became its own thing (which i'm not mad about at all)

I tried a bunch of colors on top, but I liked this piece so much I ended up loved all of them 😭♥️ so I rounded upon three versions: morning, afternoon, and sunset. how do u like the paper texture huh? so nice.

very very . ݁₊ ⊹ whimsy magical . ݁₊ ⊹ if you ask me. hehe.

a few butterflies i made for a little project :) 🦋

the odyssey, the solstice, the aurora, and the hjemkomst

each of them represents a little personal thing or period from the last year, and except for the orange one, the others were inspired by pendants of three necklaces i own and got at different months last year, conveniently aligned with each period it represents! so i just eternalized them 🧡✨🦋

update: "the epiphany"

so i just made a new one, inspired by a very old brass butterfly i found in a thrift store last year as well, but given the nature of her as a fun shiny vintage trinket and not a pendant, she represents something entirely different in this little saga for me :)

more of a deep internal shift in my core. me as a person maybe? i like to think of it that way.

These are my ocs, Tennessee, Nathanael and Gregory respectively, they share an apartment!

I always envisioned little dynamics for them living together, and a personal favorite I always wanted to illustrate was them having to get squeaky clean and get ready for their respective commitments, however they all happen in the exact same time. And there is only one bathroom. So they must share a nice shower together! (Which happens often much for Gregs disdain… he enjoys a little alone moment!)

I would love to share more of them one day who knows…! I love their little trio dynamic. bet you never seen a trio with such 3 hot people.

CHAPTER XV: THE DEVIL

this is my interpretation of the scenes with The Devil during the masquerade sequences! This one happens in the Muriel route timeline tho since it's the canonical one for my character ;)

I wanted it to feel like sort of a twist on the Beauty and the Beast ball scene, where it's not as... romantic. Or nice.
