Hey Matteo do you have any tips on how to dress as a trans man? I don’t... really know what to wear and look nice without features I would rather not show off being more easily seen if that makes sense

I’ve actually been working on a wardrobe guide a while back, but this made me remember to finish it, so here it is! All of this is stuff I’ve learned from experience and are my preferences, but I hope you can get something out of it.

Today, February 13th 2019, Brazilian Supreme Court is voting on bill to criminalize homophobia and transphobia and transphobia.

The bill proposes to judge as a crime the discrimination, bullying, persecution, and agression motivated by sexual orientation and/or gender identity of the victim. The punishment will be the same as for crimes against race and religious discrimination -

A group, known as the Evangelical Bench, of evangelical politicians who are part of the Congress and from different parties is trying to withdraw this topic from discussions, claiming that it interferes with freedom to exercise their religion.

Brazil is one of the most homophobic and transphobic countries in the world. Gay marriage was only legalized in 2013 and Brazil is the country that kills most transgender people in the world. Most of the transgender victims were teenagers and a lot of the deaths were by decapitation. The current Brazilian president, Jair Bolsonaro, is famous for his anti-LGBT+ remarks, such as saying he’d rather have a dead son than a gay one. (Here and here you can read this one and other absurd statements he made.) His appointed Minister of the Family is Damares Alves, who is evangelical, declared “it is time for the Curch to rule”, and is against “gender ideology” because it sexualizes young children. The president and his allies also support a bill called School Without Party, the focus of it is to keep teachers from manifesting their political views in class by forbiding talks about politics inside classrooms in order to fight “marxist indoctrination”, but it also forbids schools from saying and/or using textbooks with words such as gender and sexuality. The bill defends that talks about gender and sexuality should be kept away from schools and be discussed at home, even though most LGBT+ people are abused, beaten, and killed by family members.

We need help. We don’t want to die for loving who we love and being who we are.
