★ Reset Your YouTube
With the new year approaching, there’s a buzz in the air. It’s the perfect time to reflect on where we’ve been and where we’re heading. This year doesn’t have to look like the last one. If you’re planning a glow-up, stepping into a new mindset, or just becoming the person you’ve always wanted to be, here’s a method that can genuinely change the game: your YouTube feed.
Let’s be real, YouTube isn’t just entertainment. It’s also one of the most powerful platforms for self-improvement and learning. But if your feed is filled with videos that no longer serve your goals, it’s time to take charge and reset.
▸ Step 1: Unsubscribe From the Old You
First things first, go through your subscriptions and be brutally honest with yourself. Ask, “How often do I watch content from this channel? Does this align with who I’m becoming?”
Don’t worry about missing out. This isn’t about cutting off enjoyment—it’s about making space for growth.
Personal Example: I used to be subscribed to a lot of gaming channels because they were my go-to for entertainment. But now? I’m focusing on building my best self, so I said goodbye.
▸ Step 2: Hit the Reset Button
If you’re ready to go extreme (and trust me, this works wonders), delete your YouTube watch history. This is your ultimate clean slate.
Here’s how: Go to your YouTube settings, click “Manage All Activity,” and clear your watch history.
Why this works: YouTube’s algorithm will stop showing you videos based on your past habits. This means no more random recommendations that pull you back into old habits.
Pro Tip: Pair this with your new subscriptions to train the algorithm into showing you content that inspires and uplifts.
▸ Step 3: Subscribe to the Future You
This is the fun part. Fill your feed with creators who embody the energy you want to bring into the new year. Look for channels that motivate you, teach you, and align with your goals for 2025.
Being a femi girl, I will recommend some channels that are personally helping me upgrade myself:
Tam Kaur ▹ link
Alonna Elaine ▹ link
Bahja Abdi ▹ link
Adama Lorna ▹ link
Maya Galore ▹ link
Jillz Guerin ▹ link
Kisha Alejandra ▹ link
Thewizardliz ▹ link
Estelle Richter ▹ link
Simonesquared ▹ link
How to Find More: Search for videos with keywords like “level up,” “self-improvement,” “becoming her,” or “glow up in 2025.” Spend time exploring until you find creators who truly resonate with your vision.
▸ Step 4: Set Boundaries for Entertainment
It’s okay to watch fun and lighthearted content too, but be intentional. Ask yourself, “Is this adding value to my life?” If not, consider limiting your time with it.
Create playlists: Dedicate a playlist to motivational and growth-oriented videos. This will be your go-to space when you need a boost.
Schedule your entertainment: Watch for enjoyment, but don’t let it consume hours that could be spent learning or creating.
Resetting your YouTube feed might seem like a small change, but trust me, it’s powerful. When you surround yourself with content that aligns with your goals, you’re reinforcing the mindset and habits that will take you there!
So, I wish you the best of luck,

smutty prompts cus u asked for it ;)
(holy shii, MDNI please! feel free to use<333 tag me when yall write plsss especially 3! 6, 9,10, 12, 13 fckk. !!)
"that's my good girl."
when they're groaning and cursing into your ear >>>> [very demureee.]
"fuck, you're soaking wet for me, baby."
their fingers curling into all the right places.
leaning back with their legs spread apart as they ask, with a smirk, "are you just going to stare, sweetheart?"
"that's," they groan, pressing their visible bulge over your stomach, "that, darling, is what you do to me."
"do you wish to see me on my knees? Is that it, darling?" [YES. yes. AND YES.]
your heel on their chest, pressing them down to the floor. "Beg. Maybe I'll consider."
^ they kiss ur ankle, and up your calves. "Please, baby.." the desperate tone but that dominant, humiliating fire in their gaze promising something sinister after.
"aren't you such a tease? I'm jerking off to that picture of you, and it's all your fault." [yall read rina kent' books?? rina verse men jerking off>>> fck Aiden and Ronan.]
their fingers tipping ur chin up, caressing your jaw and their thumb slowly parts your lips, dipping it into your mouth!!
^ "that pretty little mouth of yours..." followed by a dark gaze or a chuckle!!! FVKFKDKF.
^ "I'm going to fuck that mouth, baby. may i do that?" [two hands the phone yall]
their proud, predatory gaze on you, their lips curling into a smirk, "you--" they rub the lipstick on your mouth, "are such a pretty mess for me, darling."
"eyes open. keep looking."
^ and in the mirror--it's their large hand splayed across your abdomen, another wrapped around your perking nip. as they thrust into you, hard, slow, deep. their teeth sinking into ur neck.
maintaining eye contact as they gather the wetness from between your legs with their fingers and they're sucking them off with a satisfied hum.
^ "fuck, sweetheart." they smear it all over their lips, breathing heavy, and lean down to kiss you with it!!? [sad core cus i aint experience this yet :']
neck grabs, deep grunts, a desperate rolling of their hips against yours, "you wanna cum, yeah? cum for me, baby."
arms over their head, mouth gaping while they groan, pressing and thrusting themselves up into you. "Just, like that, oh.. god."

10 Non-Lethal Injuries to Add Pain to Your Writing
New Part: 10 Lethal Injury Ideas
If you need a simple way to make your characters feel pain, here are some ideas:
1. Sprained Ankle
A common injury that can severely limit mobility. This is useful because your characters will have to experience a mild struggle and adapt their plans to their new lack of mobiliy. Perfect to add tension to a chase scene.
2. Rib Contusion
A painful bruise on the ribs can make breathing difficult, helping you sneak in those ragged wheezes during a fight scene. Could also be used for something sport-related! It's impactful enough to leave a lingering pain but not enough to hinder their overall movement.
3. Concussions
This common brain injury can lead to confusion, dizziness, and mood swings, affecting a character’s judgment heavily. It can also cause mild amnesia.
I enjoy using concussions when you need another character to subtly take over the fight/scene, it's an easy way to switch POVs. You could also use it if you need a 'cute' recovery moment with A and B.
4. Fractured Finger
A broken finger can complicate tasks that require fine motor skills. This would be perfect for characters like artists, writers, etc. Or, a fighter who brushes it off as nothing till they try to throw a punch and are hit with pain.
5. Road Rash
Road rash is an abrasion caused by friction. Aka scraping skin. The raw, painful sting resulting from a fall can be a quick but effective way to add pain to your writing. Tip: it's great if you need a mild injury for a child.
6. Shoulder Dislocation
This injury can be excruciating and often leads to an inability to use one arm, forcing characters to confront their limitations while adding urgency to their situation. Good for torture scenes.
7. Deep Laceration
A deep laceration is a cut that requires stitches. As someone who got stitches as a kid, they really aren't that bad! A 2-3 inch wound (in length) provides just enough pain and blood to add that dramatic flair to your writing while not severely deterring your character.
This is also a great wound to look back on since it often scars. Note: the deeper and wider the cut the worse your character's condition. Don't give them a 5 inch deep gash and call that mild.
8. Burns
Whether from fire, chemicals, or hot surfaces, burns can cause intense suffering and lingering trauma. Like the previous injury, the lasting physical and emotional trauma of a burn is a great wound for characters to look back on.
If you want to explore writing burns, read here.
9. Pulled Muscle
This can create ongoing pain and restrict movement, offering a window to force your character to lean on another. Note: I personally use muscle related injuries when I want to focus more on the pain and sprains to focus on a lack of mobility.
10. Tendonitis
Inflammation of a tendon can cause chronic pain and limit a character's ability to perform tasks they usually take for granted. When exploring tendonitis make sure you research well as this can easily turn into a more severe injury.
This is a quick, brief list of ideas to provide writers inspiration. Since it is a shorter blog, I have not covered the injuries in detail. This is inspiration, not a thorough guide. Happy writing! :)

Definitely the sexiest thing about Harvey Dent across Batman continuities is when, y'know shortly after losing half his face, he starts working his way through the Gotham underworld and you can very quickly tell that this isn't what you'd call a rampage. 'Rampage' implies he's acting pretty much purely on impulse, but no, he sits down with various mob goons, maybe goes apeshit on a few of them, does his coin flip, et cetera, but the whole time, you can tell, he has thought about this for years. He's figured out all the gang hierarchies, he knows all the hangouts, he knows exactly where the gaps in his knowledge are and whose ass he has to kick to fill them, and he's working his way through it like a grocery list. And it's clear that for years the law was the only thing holding him back from doing this and now it's not holding him back anymore. It's equal parts terrifying and satisfying and anyway that breach of the line of law and the childhood friend thing is absolutely why he's actually Batman's greatest Rogue. Because Batman has also thought like, way way, way too much about what he would do if he didn't have his code. Do you see the vision here???

Finding delight in language learning
It's all too easy to feel overwhelmed by the sheer amount of unknown vocabulary when learning a language. That's why it's important to savor moments of delight. Here are 4 words I've come across recently that delighted me.
【1】 虎口 hǔkǒu - the area between the thumb and index finger When I came across this word, I was very confused as to why the webnovel I was reading had a tiger.
【2】 烛泪(燭淚)zhúlèi - drops of melted wax that run down the side of a candle This one seems so poetic to me—candle tears!
【3】 毛毛雨 máomaoyǔ - drizzle The dictionary says 毛 can mean small or fine, but in my head I think of it as "fuzzy rain" since 毛 also means hair/fur.
【4】 趿拉 tāla - to wear (one's shoes) while stepping on the backs to flatten them / onomatopoeia for shuffling sound I used to wear my shoes like this all the time when I was growing up, so I love that there is a specific word for it.
Definitions are from MDBG, edited by me.

I went for an evening walk with a friend in the park and we wondered about why poets love autumn: maybe because it's fleeting, because it has so much to say about finiteness, or because it reminds us that change is inevitable, or maybe just because the colour of it takes your breath away

On Standards, Variants & Mix-ups
標準、異體以及混亂字
Stumbled upon this picture ↑ and this interesting, albeit, rather old webpage (article's from 2007) recently, where the author touches on the topic of “Standardised” and Variant Characters and some examples of the differences between Hong Kong and Taiwan style 繁體字 (Traditional characters).
“Standardised”, put in quotes because what's considered a Standard may be subject to changes any time.
What caught my eye was the characters for 「茨」、「丸」 and 「遨」 in particular, because while I knew about the other characters and their 異體 (variants) shown here, I never noticed/knew about the slight differences between the “Standard” (標準字體) and Popular (俗寫字體) variants for 「茨」、「丸」 and 「遨」 before, (no) thanks too to the added confusion brought on by font styles sometimes!
I realise in the grand scheme of things, especially as we go farther still into this digital age (and not forgetting about changing Standards every now and then), minor discrepancies in font styles are not going to really matter. But if one feels like being pedantic; wanna be “more correct” and all that…then this is something worth taking note of! (笑)
While I'm taking notes, I only realised now too that technically, characters like 「讀」、「續」、「犢」、「竇」 and 「櫝」 should be written with a
「*𧶠」 [🇭🇰🇲🇴 juk⁶; 🀄 ㄩˋ/yǜ]
*n.b.: in case it still can't be seen clearly, the 「罒」 is actually a compressed 「四」.
phonetic component rather than a
「賣」 [🇭🇰🇲🇴 maai⁶; 🀄 ㄇㄞˋ/mài]
This revelation certainly makes it clearer now why 「讀」、「續」、「犢」、「竇」 and 「櫝」 are pronounced with an ‘ㄨ/u; ㄩ/yü’ sound!
So have I been writing 「讀」 (and all other relevant characters) “wrongly” all this while?! (囧) Depending on what “Standards” one goes by I guess, confusing computer font styles notwithstanding! (笑)

we were outside and the street was wet and the sign was flickering. i wanted to be barefoot but knew it would be weird so instead i just sort of hovered around you while you smoked and the awnings dripped. it was dark here, the blue darkness of a night that you’re not supposed to be out in, a night that refuses you. not a warm one but our knees were uncovered.
you play with your lighter. we stand under the lamppost. in three months we’ll be going different places as fast as our legs can take us. right now, the summer is too young to have a name. so we stand there. i’m in love with you and i have been since middle school math class.
“doesn’t it bother you,” you ask, and the neon sign flickers, “that your dad says shit like that?”
i put my back against the wet lamppost. you play with your lighter. “does anybody feel good about their dad?” i ask.
you snort. then we’re silent.
once when i was twelve my father threw a plate on the ground and later when he retold the story, he said that i had done it. or that i’d made him. i don’t remember exactly how he lied about it, only that he did, and that it was the moment i’d sort of recognized that he was 50 percent of me as a person and that was fucking terrifying.
the neon sign flickers. you play with the lighter and pass it over your fingertips. and then you say, “there’s a thin layer of molecules that stops me from being burned by this.”
okay. i watch you do it, even though i know i should be stopping you about it. it’s not the kind of night for stopping things. it’s the kind of night when we’re both the bad kind of quiet.
you unfold your free palm and hold it inches above the flame. “the further i get, the less it hurts,” you say.
you don’t look up. you put your lighter in your pocket. we walk in the mist which is the resting state of rain. i feel like we’re too close to an emotion to speak of it, but i know what you’re saying.
“don’t grow a molecule coat too thick you can’t feel warmth,” i say. “don’t go too far away.”
you snort again. “too late.”
i look up. i can’t see the moon. i think of your lighter and the hand i want to hold and how both of us are running before the cement in the ground can take us. i think of how we are both playing with any lighter we find, balancing between the thin layer of dna and personality, of destiny and fate.
“it’s okay,” i say, “who needs fathers anyway.”
