I like to imagine Poppy sometimes regressing while having Eddie over

She enjoys just laying her head on his lap and Eddie petting her. Poppy feels a bit nervous in doing so, but Eddie doesn’t mind it at all. His hand gliding along the smoothness and softness of her feathers, giving a few head scratches every now and then. Eddie hums a little tune to help Poppy rest, and she falls asleep, feeling like a little chick again
