the thing that bothers me with 7 deadly sin based characters is when they cant decide if they embody the sin by suffering from it or by drawing it out of others. ie. if your gluttony demon is a guy who loves eating then your lust demon should be a gooner sex pest. and if your lust demon is a seductive girlboss then your gluttony demon should be a 5 star chef. does this make sense.

The capitulation of liberals to the debate about abortion being concerned with the amorphous christian concept of when "life" begins was such a huge mistake and made the conversation about something it seriously fucking isn't. Legal precedent should have always been based on the concepts of bodily autonomy, because that argument is CORRECT and if established then it would be unassailable. You cannot impel a person to sustain another "life" via their body. It is a human right and has been since the concept of medical personhood has been understood. Instead of that conversation, they allowed it to become about whether or not a fetus is a person (it's not). The legal status of the soul of a fertilized egg has always been a concession to the injection of christian philosophy being used as a debate in legal definitions. It NEVER should have been the question. The question is whether or not a pregnant person has to allow their body to be used to sustain fetal development against their will. And the answer is fucking no. That is illegal and a violation of human rights.

this is getting concerning no i do not want to coddle a man like a child nor do i want him to control me and make all my decisions. have none of you considered maybe a man who is nice to you and treats you well and respects you. just a thought

Who would win in a fight, furby or labubu?
they are both ridiculous creations of the capitalist mind and would fall to any cloth doll or homunculus made with any real heart. that said, the furby

thanks for the comments and asks saying i'm being mean for very mildly saying i don't like when people make social decisions based on horoscopes.
your behavior has made me realize i should be "meaner": horoscopes are fake.
the position of planets and balls of gas did not in any way impact your personality or destiny. it has nothing to do with what kind of people you are compatible with, despite what an app or magazine told you.
i think sincere belief in horoscopes shows a concerning propensity to trust pseudoscience and a susceptibility to confirmation bias.
i'm pretty tired of having to tiptoe around this kind of thing and include disclaimers. if you genuinely think you shouldn't be friends with someone because of the date they came out of a uterus, you're being a clown.

People might wonder why I love etymology so much and the reason is simple — our everyday language is full of poetry. The English word "clue"? It comes from a Middle English word for "a ball of yarn", "clewe", which is a reference to the myth about Theseus and the Labyrinth. The Czech word "potkat" — "to meet"? The "tkat" part actually comes from "tkát" — to weave. To meet someone is literally to get interwoven with someone in Czech. How am I supposed to not love this?

Joseph Mallord William Turner
New research has solved the mystery about J.M.W. Turner’s watercolour sketches, which were previously thought to show the notorious fire of 1834 at the Houses of Parliament. As cataloguer Matthew Imms explains, contemporary images point to a different fire, which consumed the Grand Storehouse of the Tower of London in October 1841.
