so, I'll work on those starters tomorrow. tonight I wanna focus on watching one piece and writing down all of Lisa's verses so I can make them come true in the following weeks :) the good thing of rping a human is that you have like almost infinite possibilities

    lisa can’t quite say that she’s surprised by his actions. for the past few weeks, she has only ever seen him be GRATEFUL that she’s let him come into her life ( a g a i n ).   but, really, she only did the best she could - was she really going to deny him a home after his brother passed?  plus, she has cared deeply for this man for years now.  having him back in her life was truly the best think that could have happened.  “ oh - dean, that’s great!  i'm sure you’ll get the job.  i'll make sure to prepare a nice dinner for us to celebrate. ”  she answers with a smile.  “ shouldn’t you be resting to be in your best shape tomorrow instead of, you know - worrying about our lawn? ”

 ‘  i’m up for it . ’    dean immediately offered .    ‘ it’s the least i can do, y’know considering … ’     he implied without further explanation .  he knew he had already exhausted her with the amount of gratitude he had expressed over her inviting him into her home .    ‘  oh, by the way .  they called me again this mornin’ about that job in construction .  i’m goin’ back tomorrow to run some tests . ’   he didn’t want to announce it yet, but he was almost certain he got the job .

no but the glorious thing abt like. having ocs. or even just ANY portrayal of a character that doesn't belong rigidly to published canon. is that you can literally say "it's canon that they did X and married Y and killed Z" and nobody can argue that. like. nobody. who's gonna argue w it? a fool? a moron? a gobshite? anyone who looks at your portrayal and is genuinely so frustrated that they need to send you a message challenging it is sb that needs to touch some grass. go wild. you create a blog for a character, who has roots in canon or in original lore, and you can do whatever the hell you want with them.

"they killed this evil dude that some idiot in the writing room kept alive" exquisite.

"they're best friends with these canon characters, and it's implied that they actually had a lengthy romantic entanglement with the leading couple." splendid stuff.

it's been a really really rough time of things lately and i think it's time for us to collectively stop caring about logic when we're writing these things. plus it's funny as hell to just say "actually you know what? it IS canon that my muse fought five radioactive unicorns with laser eyes and machetes on their horns, and what's more, they did it with a teaspoon and two packets of demerara brown sugar". tumblr needs to become fun again. if i see one more person stressing over the "realistic" nature of their hcs, i'll end up yelling, bc realism isn't important. stuff's real enough as it is. what MATTERS is that we have fun, bc we deserve to have fun, and i refuse to be burnt out on the dash as well as in my personal life.

‘ can i ... mow the lawn? ’ he'd be lying if he wasn't a little bit excited to help with chores . he never had the chance to experience the normality of them in real life . and he wanted to make the best of it .

lisa doesn't immediately answer him; her first reaction is to smile and only watch him for a few seconds. she truly wonders if this is really the life he wants for himself, if normal really makes him happy.

she thinks he means it, for now.

" i was actually gonna hire somebody to do it - but if you're up to the task, then go ahead. "

the concept of growing into love is so much more intriguing than falling in love. it’s like, on all our good days and bad days, I will choose to love you, I will learn with you, I will live my life with you and we will grow into and with each other through the passage of time

hey. can people who write characters over 25/30 reblog this (and i mean like… actually actively write them or want to write them)? also people who don’t use the stereotypical tumblr fcs you see all over the tags (such as w/e celebs are popular at the moment, or fcs that look like they are underaged, etc). i really need to find more of you.
