I know Pirates smp ended 2 years ago, but the brainworms have crawled back in my brain like a parasite [ again ]. Anyways, is there any favorite worldbuilding details on pirates smp perchance 👀? [ atleast the ones that are not patreon exclusive ],

and adding on to that would we at some point get the Iris and Ivy [ and in extention, Sandro Caravel ] Origins before the events of the smp happened? I fear I am going deranged over the Suarez family [ AGAIN ].

I think my favorite piece of world-building detail has to be that the entire Ecclesia Sea is a giant soup bowl that has slowly risen in sea level over the past 1000 years.

That means there's tons of cities, towns, regions, etc, that are COMPLETELY submerged! I like to think the region where the Ecclesia Sea is, used to have a lot more land to it - and the islands seen in the SMP are only the tops of what used to be the old region's mountain ranges :]

As for stuff about Suarez family... this isn't canon as it was never shown/executed in the series, but at one point I had drafted a version of their backstory that included pre-teen Ivy and Iris going to the "slums" of where they used to live in order to learn magic from an older witch. This was the origin of them learning magical abilities & they did it in order to:

1. Get their father to notice them

2. Grow closer as sisters and bond over something

Unfortunately, their father DID notice and ended up trying to exploit their magic, which led to... well, the story we have today!

Haii apo:D im not sure if your gonna see this,but if you do, i was wondering if you coming out as trans changes anything on fanart boundaries? Or like if you prefer anything like for example longer hair or wtv :p i hope you dont mind me askingg and that you know what i mean xD

I'm still pretty chill with whatever! If I'm being drawn as myself/oc I'd definitely prefer longer hair as that's part of my identity. (and also just being fem haha)

As for fanart of my characters, I'd say whatever the community prefers - I made those characters with specific identities in mind (o!apo being he/they & gay, r1!apo being transfem, p!apo being well... i still don't know haha, and r2!apo being any/all) I adore all art and expression, I'll adore if y'all do genderbend them or make them more fem, but it's not really a necessity

Further characters will lean more heavily into the fem realm though ^-^

With catpo having been abandoned by their own cat family, he would've seen similarities in how Martyn left him and Ren behind. Now being able to relate to the Captain, he'd show sympathy and grow more loyal to Ren's cause ^-^
