the longer she lives in bikini bottom, the more sandy adopts sea-lingo into her own texan sayings, or unconsciously adapts them to ocean related things. i.e., “’til the cows come home” into “’til the clams come home”, “hold your horses” to “hold your seahorses”, etc.

     Wide brown eyes turned, and a toothy grin spread on the scientist’s face as she took in the sight of her dear friend, head concealed within his favored water helmet. Wiping her hands of any oil or grease, Sandy approached the other, extending a welcoming hand to him.

     “Why, howdy, Spongebob! I’m happier than a clam at high tide t’see ya! Shoot, you got here at the perfect time, too, I do need some help!” Her tail flicked happily and she turned her back on him, walking back over to her latest invention, which was.... something! At the moment, it really just looked like a mess of different parts sort of slung together.

     “I need yer help with this’ere robot, little buddy. I just can’t get a way to keep it together, it keeps on fallin’ apart!” The eyes flickered back to the male for a moment, eagerness evident in them. Knowing him, Sandy could always expect a helpful, if slightly unorthodox, solution to her problem. In that sense, Spongebob could be counted on more much than her own scientific mind.

Let me help with… whatever it is you’re doing there! ”

sandy really only ever goes to the krusty krab to visit spongebob, tbh. krabby patties are ok, not as good as the food in texas, but she likes hanging out with her little buddy more often!

she’s always wanted to go to the surface and bring spongebob along with her to show him the beauty of texas, but she’s never gotten the chance to ask because of a) obvious issues with water and b) spongebob’s work schedule

as much as she fusses at patrick for his stupidity, she really doesn’t mind his company at all. he can be pretty funny at times, and he’s trying his best. she can appreciate that.

whenever theyre both visiting spongebob at the krusty krab, sandy will usually slip patrick her krabby patty when spongebob isn’t looking because she knows he’s more likely to eat it than she is.
