Figures.
Now, do we have to hold everyone's hands and explain how this fits in with their interest in seeing us all dead? Or that they won't stop here?

The whole debacle is. Well. Let me break this up into a much smaller series of statements and maybe it’ll make what’s going on on tumblr clearer. This is important to me because I think it illustrates well what I think of the entire discussion surrounding whether or not transandrophobia exists and whether trans men and transmascs have male privilege or not.
Staff is transphobic. We’ve all known this for a long time now.
A forcefem blog run by a transfem who thinks transmascs are all evil privileged transmisogynists gets popular
One random person accuses the popular forcefem blog promoting incest
Staff deletes the popular forcefem blog
Staff does not get blame or criticism for this
Trans men and transmascs who use a word for their oppression are blamed for this
A popular forcemasc blog starts getting hate, death threats, and demands to “delete out of solidarity” (this would achieve nothing except silencing more trans people)
The random person who accused the forcefem blog of incest starts targeting the forcemasc blog too
The forcemasc blog either gets deleted or goes private (hopefully the latter)
Staff is still ignored entirely in this
A self-identified TME creates a list of “transmisogynists” to mass report; the list contains multiple transfems
Staff is still ignored entirely in this
Trans men, transmascs, and their supporters are now basically expected to shelter themselves from an oncoming storm of harassment while extending positivity towards each other and proving their innocence
Staff is still ignored entirely in this
Staff are the ones who can delete your blog
Staff is responsible for blogs getting terminated
Staff is still transphobic
Remember this next time trans people are chased off the internet or laws are passed and someone has the impulse to blame other trans people

it’s genuinely so upsetting how people will be like ‘dni terfs!’ then immediately turn around and talk shit about trans guys or deny transandrophobia like you’re turning away from hate speech about trans people but then…participating in hate speech about trans people??? you are parroting radfem rhetoric. your “activism” is so performative it’s not even funny

Alex Bollinger at LGBTQ Nation:
The West African nation of Burkina Faso’s ruling junta unanimously passed a law banning homosexuality yesterday. “The law provides for a prison sentence of between two and five years as well as fines,” said Justice Minister Edasso Rodrigue Bayala. “If a person is a perpetrator of homosexual or similar practices, all the bizarre behavior, they will go before the judge.” He said that foreigners will be deported under the law.
Burkina Faso has been under the rule of a military junta since September 2022, when former Interim President Paul-Henri Sandaogo Damiba – who himself came to power in a coup d’état several months earlier – was removed from his office. The civil unrest is a result of the government’s inability to contain an Islamist insurgency. The Muslim-majority nation had been among the 22 out of 54 African states where same-sex relations were not criminalized. The one-time French colony didn’t inherit anti-homosexuality laws found in many former British colonies.
But the bill to ban homosexuality was supported by 71 unelected members of the transitional parliament yesterday as part of a wider set of family and citizenship law reforms “popularized through an awareness campaign,” officials said. The bill was initially approved by the military government’s leader, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, last year. Traoré has been shifting the country’s focus away from its close relationship with France and toward Russia.
West African nation Burkina Faso joins the dishonor list of nations that criminalize homosexuality, as its parliament passed a law unanimously to criminalize homosexuality with 2-5 years of jail time and fines.

It's weird how something can happen like a bunch of trans women getting banned off a website and people will rush to blame a bunch of trans folks (including trans women!) that they don't like instead of, you know, the tech bros that run the website.

Transmedicalism is the pipeline to becoming the trans equivalent of a right winger. It is not your friend. Transmedicalism will not save you. I am not joking.
You start as a Kalvin Garrah or a Natalie Wynn and then become someone like Blaire White or Buck Angel. Or you literally begin to hate yourself so much you detransition. I have known people like that personally. People like that were my friends online in the 2010's. We were all fucking miserable.
I knew more than one transmed who detransitioned because transmeds are perfect targets for radfems and radfem indoctrination. I knew more than one transmed who fell into antisemitic conspiracy because they began to believe that nonbinary people were all part of an "elite upper class" trying to eradicate binary trans ways of existing. I knew transmeds who were convinced that they could never achieve what they wanted from their medical transitions so they just gave up and lived unhappily in the closet. I knew transmeds who hated other trans people, especially nonbinary people, so violently they would talk about wanting to harm their gnc and nonbinary classmates and peers.
Transmedicalism is a death trap. Don't fucking fall into it.

I know the Reddit situation is extremely disheartening, but I wanted my fellow trans men to see this. In my many years of being in online trans spaces, I have never seen such an overwhelming outpouring of love towards trans men — and from people all across the trans spectrum.
I have a sincere feeling that we are going to come out of this with raised awareness towards transandrophobia and with more people vocally supporting the transman/masc community.

Today, the Federal Trade Commission launched a public inquiry to better understand how consumers may have been exposed to false or unsupported claims about “gender-affirming care”, especially as it relates to minors, and to gauge the harms consumers may be experiencing. In a Request for Information, the FTC encourages members of the public to comment on any issues or concerns that are relevant to the FTC’s consideration of this topic, including by submitting any written data, advertisements, social media posts, disclosures, or empirical research.
The public will have 60 days to submit comments at Regulations.gov, no later than September 26, 2025. Once submitted, comments will be posted to Regulations.gov. Individuals wishing to submit confidential, non-public comments should reference the alternative submission guidelines in the RFI.

if your trans advocacy is about "trans people" but you only mean binary trans women and "HRT" but you only mean estrogenizing hormones you're being a bad fucking advicate. transmascs and nonbinary people who require testosterone should not be an afterthought. if you only want to talk about trans women be upfront about that in your language instead of pretending to speak to everyone.

Seeing takes on here like 'trans women are defined by experiencing transmisogyny' make me so sad.. What a doom-spiralling thing to push onto the community, especially any hatchlings.
Instead of going "you are trans and thats okay, being trans isn't bad, the word just treats you in a bad way because of it and it hurts, sure, but you need to stay resilliant and relearn to love yourself and take pride in your identity" y'all wanna push the narrative that our trans identity is defined by pain and suffering. Nothing else. There's no joy in transfemininity, just suffering. Being trans is to suffer.
And that is a rhetoric I hate deeply. It is filled with so much internalized grief over trans identity, I don't understand how anyone would push that onto other people.
If you want to give up hope we'll ever get rights & believe that no trans woman will ever be happy, do that on your own time, but don't make it a major point in your queercourse opinions. Genuinely cannot believe I must make this statement.

are perisex people even real

Oh wow that post fucking sucks. "Its like saying ADD is a slur"? What the fuck is she talking about. I was going to argue here but honestly there's no point. She's definitely seen what intersex people say about that word, and just doesn't care.
