BTS on James Corden Nov. 2021

Earlier this week, BTS appeared on James Corden's show, something I KNOW ARMYs were looking forward to. A while ago, ARMYs and James Corden had some beef because he described BTS fans as 15 year old girls and ARMY showed no mercy, even dropping his ratings. During their interview, James asked how they were doing and RM responded and also asked how he was doing, saying, “James, how about you? You’ve been in some hot water with ARMYs. Are you alright?” Corden was visibly embarrassed and explained what happened and that he had “never been on that side of the ARMY before.” He also mentioned that someone told him that they wished he would die, which I think is extra on the fans part.

When the incident with Corden and ARMYs happened many fans were saying that his title of “papa mochi” was revoked because of what he said. But during the interview, he asked Jimin, if he was still papa mochi. Jimin replied, “Papa mochi, I believe in you.”🤗 which I thought this was a nice touch. However I did notice, that right before this, RM said that he accepted his apology and it sounded as though James Corden was going to say that it wasn’t an apology, but I feel like many ARMYS were expecting to hear one. But aside from that it wasn’t a complete disaster. I also appreciate that he brought up how Jimin was looking more built, because he really is looking 👌. BTS’ performance on the show was 👍, everyone looked great and we should all be proud of what they’ve done. Lets keep it going!!!

What BTS is Doing in the U.S.!!

A couple of days ago BTS arrived in the U.S. and they seem to be having the time of their lives! They posted pictures and clips of some of the members at a Harry Styles concerts and Lizzo was also there!! You can see Jungkook, Jimin, V, and J-Hope dancing and singing along with Lizzo🤗. This I something I did NOT expect to see because Kpop idols aren’t usually seen attending these kinds of events, so it’s nice to see them getting some fun time.

On another note, BTS is going to be getting a lot of screen time during the AMAs. They will be performing “My Universe” with Coldplay, and they will also perform “Butter”. Originally, they were supposed to perform with Megan Thee Stallion, but sadly she won’t be anymore because of a personal matter. That performance would have been 👌. However, she mentioned not being able to wait to perform with them soon in her tweet and I am very curious to know what she means by that! Lastly, BTS is going to be on James Corden on Nov. 23, I wonder how that’s going to turn out, after the beef between him and ARMY, but I hope it goes smoothly💜. More on this next week!

Namjoon lost WHAT?!

Recently, RM posted on Weverse that files that he had been working on for over a year lost audio. Although some things can be mistranslated, based on what I have read, he made a mistake with the cleaning program and lost one song but it had 60 recorded tracks. He explained that the other songs were kept by other people. Now he is going to have to work on them again. Could you imagine having to work on something that you already worked on for over a year. Similar things have happened to me and people I know with school work, but we’re talking about work in his CAREER!

Many posts on social media show ARMY expressing their sadness for RM. There are posts saying that ARMYs want to help him retrieve the files aaallll over TikTok, demonstrating the overwhelming love and care that ARMYs have for the BTS members. However, some are trying to make light of the situation while others are taking it seriously and don’t like the fact that people are making jokes about it. I think that what happened to RM isn’t funny, but they way that some people are reacting to it on social media and the fact that so Many fans are trying to help him, is humorous and light hearted. I hope that RM is doing better and is making progress. Hopefully it isn’t going too badly.

HYBE is Working with WEBTOON and Wattpad?!

Apparently, HYBE is collaborating with WEBTOON and Wattpad to come out with webcomics and web novels! The content should be coming out in January 2022 which is only a few months away! I don’t tend to read fan fiction but I think I’m going to have to see this.

From what I have seen, the stories are going to include fantasy. The content is going to feature BTS, TXT and ENHYPEN. The first story features BTS, and it’s called “7Fates: CHAKHO”, it will be released on WEBTOON and Wattpad. It’s going to be about 7 young men growing up with each other. I usually rather watch content like reality/variety shows or behind the scene clips, in general videos that have the actual members, but I’m going to have to see how these webcomics and web novels play out. This new content is going to be interesting and a little different than the fan fiction that’s out there since HYBE is a part of it. I think they are going to be a hit especially considering how many fans like reading fiction about their favorite groups. I can’t wait to see what they have in store!

Jungkook’s Cover of “Falling” by Harry Styles

On October 28th, BANGTANTV uploaded a cover of Harry Style’s “Falling” done by Jungkook. I tend to like more upbeat songs but Jungkook’s vocals got me. Not only did he sing well, but his pronunciation was amazing!!!! We all know that Jungkook has been working at his English and it seems to have paid off. If I didn’t know who he was, I wouldn’t have known that he isn’t a native English speaker.

I was actually shocked when this came out, considering how mad ARMY was about the whole Harry styles winning the Best Choreography award situation at the VMAs. However, I’m glad that he chose to do this song. His vocals really came through, he matched the song well. BTS always does a good job with covers. They are great at doing a variety of music as shown by their cover of Coldplay’s “Fix You”, Shinhwa’s “Perfect Man”, and Kim Sung Jae’s “As I told You”. I hope Jungkook and the rest of BTS continues to do covers in the future!!

Jungkook has a big dog!!!?

“BTS in the Shop 2” came out on October 15th 2021 and Jungkook brought a special guest!!! In the show Jungkook brought his dog named Bam! The other members have dogs as well but the only one that went was Bam.

I’m used to seeing idols have smaller pets such as V’s pomeranian named Yeontan, but Jungkook’s dog is big!!! Bam is brown and what looks like a Doberman. Seeing Jungkook have wholesome interactions with his dog was a nice touch in the show 🤗, you could see Bam following him around💜. These are interactions that we don’t get to see often but I hope the their staff will put out more content with BTS and their pets! Now that I see that they are able to bring their pets to this show, I’m curious as to why the other pets weren’t taken. Also, who takes care of their pets when the members go to different places? Overall, I’m glad that Bam was introduced to us and I hope to see more from Bam and the other pets in the future!

BTS meeting with Coldplay!!

BangtanTV uploaded a video on October 14th of a meeting with BTS and Coldplay!! Although there have already been meetings with them, this video gives a different look on their relationship and interactions. The video starts off by explaining that while BTS was in New York, they went to meet Coldplay. They met in an auditorium where Coldplay’s instruments were set up, which the BTS members seemed to enjoy playing around with🤗. There, they sang “My Universe”, together. Seeing all of them gathered in a circle and hearing them sing live with only the sound of guitars in the background was very heartwarming, it had a bright and authentic feel to it.

The second part of the video was of them having conversations and eating with each other. At one point Chris Martin started dancing and singing “chicken Noodle Soup” (cover with J-Hope and Becky G) in the elevator, J-Hope seemed embarrassed and flattered at the same time❤️. The fact that Chris Martin knows and likes that song is crazy to me, he really knows where it’s at!! While they were eating, they exchanged gifts, and Chris Martin gave Jin his guitar with “Worldwide Handsome” written on it, which is just 👌. Either Chris Martin did his research or he’s an Army, either way, I appreciate it! Coldplay and BTS seemed to have a good time and I really liked the vibe they gave off with each other. Lets keep the collabs going!!!💜💜

Let's talk about Megan Thee Stallion and BTS Meeting!!!

On October 8th (Yesterday) BTS’ YouTube channel, BANGTANTV uploaded an almost 6 minute video of BTS and Megan the Stallion meeting!! The video takes place on the rooftop of a building with a lot of staff around. This video was so wholesome and exciting! Everyone looked so good! Its nice to see BTS meet other popular Artists especially those who have a different style compared to BTS.

When I first watched the video, I was not expecting to feel a rush of emotions! I’m not sure what I expected but the fact that I was seeing BTS and MEGAN THEE STALLION having a normal conversation was just 🤯. I also feel that bringing Megan Thee Stallion’s dog into the mix was a nice touch. Another part that shook me was when BTS was teaching her the hand movement part of the choreography (done by J-Hope, Jimin, and Jungkook) to her part in the “Butter” remix. Seeing them talking with each other and looking as though they are having a good time was an interesting experience as a viewer and I hope to see them come out with more celebrity encounters/meetings!!

BTS “PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE” Concerts 2021

It has been announced that BTS will be holding FOUR concerts in California! The concerts, called “PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE” will be held on November 27th and 28th, and December 1st and 2nd at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood CA. Tickets are going on sale on October 9th and presale ticket options start on October 5th. This is great for people who live in or near CA but what about the rest of us!

BTS was supposed to have a “Map of the Soul” tour, where they would have gone to California, Texas, D.C., and other places in the U.S.. Hundreds of thousands of fans had already gotten tickets to see one of the BIGGEST groups, but they cancelled it, which is a COMPLETE TRAGEDY! Now, after a long time, they’re going to perform in the U.S. but only in one state 😩! Apparently, people who bought tickets for “Map of the Soul” concerts can get early access to tickets. However, not all of us, especially those of us who live on the other side of the country have the time or money to go all the way to California. I hope that some time in the near future, they’ll have concerts that are spread out throughout the U.S. like the way they had planned it for “Map of the Soul”, so that more people can have the chance to see the most popular boy band in the world!

“My Universe”, Coldplay Collab with BTS!!

Coldplay and BTS’ “My Universe” lyric video came out on September 24th! A part of the song was released early and some people on social media expressed that it sounded like Chrisitian rock, and yes, it low key did, and it was beautiful. I think the song is very catchy and although I usually like more pop style songs, this song hits different.

The song is definitely Coldplay’s style but BTS’ voice still came out. Although I feel like Jimin could have had more parts, his harmonizing was 👌, and lets not forget about RM’s singing!! RM did a great job singing, if someone didn’t know who BTS was, they would think he’s a singer rather than main rapper, (that’s just how good he is)! BTS’ recent song, “Permission to Dance” didn’t have any rapping parts, which isn’t a terrible thing, but it was nice to see Suga and J-hope rapping again 🤗. Overall, this is a great feel good song and I hope that BTS continues to do more collabs in the future!

Lets Talk About the VMAs Best Choreography Award

On September 12th, the VMAs took place. One of the awards that was given out was the Best Choreography, the winner of this award was Harry Styles’ “Treat People With Kindness”… over BTS’ Butter!!!! This post is not to hate on Harry Styles, it is just to point out FACTS. I think we all know that BTS has always had exceptional and well executed choreography and Butter is not an exception.

I watched Harry’s Styles’ music video to see if there was a good explanation for him winning. I am not a choreographer, and I don’t have any dance experience but from what I saw, he didn’t seem to outdance BTS. Harry’s choreography was more old school and he did dance for most of the video but it wasn’t as elaborate. If you look at BTS’ butter choreography, I think there was a lot more moving parts that were smooth and well done by the members. This category was non-votable, meaning a group of people who should know what they’re talking about decided that the choreography that Harry Styles did was somehow better than BTS. I am honestly curious as to how this was decided and what the criteria was because from what I saw, even a non-Army can see who really had better choreography.

BTS’ “IDOL” hit 1 BILLION views

“IDOL” now has 1 BILLION views! Now they have SIX music videos with 1 billion views. Good job ARMY!!!!!! Keep the momentum going!
