[Well this is a way to come back after being mostly silent for 2 months. To be honest there wasn’t any reason for me being silent besides some mental health issues that I had decided to try to work on instead of this blog. Hopefully I’ll be able to post more on here but it’s probably gonna be inconsistent… Anyway I had realized that I never mentioned when Felix’s birthday was, to my knowledge at least. Which is today! I’ve got so much about him that I’ve forgotten to share so hopefully this will suffice until I get back into the groove of things, like setting up tags that I use to not do but honestly need due to how difficult it is for me to go through past posts on here. -Mystic]

Felix snorts and began to chuckle. The private leaning back in the chair he was on. After a while he wiped his eyes from how much he was laughing. "Sorry, your reaction was so funny."

The private then sighs and glances towards Gator. "If you're wanting me to say this with more respect then, You saying that you had a beard from the womb does not sound believable Corporal Gator. Plus if you have photo proof that you've grown a beard at least once then please, be my guest to show it." Felix had a playful smile on his face, amused by how Jack was acting.

Felix just spinning on one of those rolly chairs, absolutely no clue where the private could have gotten it cause it doesn't look like any of the chairs on base. "Spin"

"I'm not gonna eat any of the soldiers on base! I was... Gonna try biting at my arm to see if it'd taste the same." The private then turned himself around and tried to walk off.

Felix peaks into Gators office, most likely sleep deprived from the dark eye bags under his eyes.

"Did you know that there's a lung disease that's caused by inhaling silica dust and/or quartz dust from volcanoes. It's called pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis."

Stares for a bit before leaving.

Felix shrugs slightly as he continued to look away from Jack. After a while the private sighs and then murmurs quietly. "Some higher-ups would prefer it cause of what happened on an old team of mine from before Shadow Company... Ones that would have preferred that I was the one KIA instead of the one who had saved my ass on a mission... That's all I'll say."

He turned towards the corporal with a blank expression on his face, almost a perfect mask of nonchalant if it weren't for the fact that if someone was looking carefully enough they could see right through it. He sighed and then flashed a bright grin at Jack.

"Well that was fun, thanks for holding the ladder Mr Gator man. Now let's get you to the place you were trying to get to before you helped me." The private then abruptly began walking off, dragging the corporal behind him.

*The private continues to walk down the hall while carrying a box filled with multiple different kinds of caffeine.*

Jack looks down the hall after the private but don’t have it in him to really do anything about it.. if some private wanted to hide a fuck-ton of caffeine in the ceiling, who was he to stop their version of fun?

He shakes his head and goes the opposite direction, ending back up at the private. Of course, the good ol’ looping hallways of base, must’ve taken one too many left turns.. that’s embarrassing for his ego.

Maybe he can act like he meant to come this way, his shop is nearby.. somewhere, at least. At least, it was around here.

"Uuuuhh, don't worry about it." Felix had a nervous expression on his face as he quickly shoved the remaining containers of caffeine into the ceiling. Then the private began to climb down the ladder, hopping off of it once he was on the last few steps.

The private glanced up at the ceiling with a grin on his face at seeing the ceiling tile hiding his caffeine stash. In his attempts to try and avoid answering Jack's question and narrowed gaze he hadn't noticed that his smile didn't quite reach his eyes.

Felix accidentally lets out a poorly covered snort of laughter at the southern cusses. The private rolled his eyes playfully as he continued to push the box of caffeine into the ceiling tiles.

"Oh c'mon, don't sound so much like a worried dad! Besides, it's not that far of a fall and it wouldn't have been that bad if I did end up falling from this rickety old thing."

The private then chuckles at his own joke, then grumbles quietly under his breath. "Some higher-ups probably would prefer that. Especially the ones in the team I was on before Shadow Company."

Felix then abruptly climbed on top of the very top of the rickety ladder and began to continue his attempts of putting the box of caffeine in. Seemingly ignoring the fact that the ladder was creaking under him.
