I'm determined to go on a little solo trip with my cat next year. I'm going to make it happen.

#erin rambles #gonna do so much shit next year!!!!!!#I'm taking a trip with one of my pals to San Fran in January and we're going to have such a great time #and I'm doing a little retreat with my book club ladies this October #both trips I will have to be away from my cat for the weekend #and I genuinely hate being away from her #especially after being attached at the hip for four solid months while I was unemployed #so I think it'd be really nice to take a trip just me and the creature #I think we'll have a wonderful time #she honestly does really well in the car???#my precious little goblin angel

I love it when my friends read my favorite books and I especially love it when they text me their reactions as they go

#erin rambles #book tag #I loaned my good good friend Salvation Day and she's having a great time #I personally only really like very specific kinds of horror and salvation day was the book that let me dip my toe into the genre #so the fact that she likes it makes me so so happy #and the fact that she's terrified tells me that it's actually scarier than I thought lmao #also I joke that she's the Book God bc I've enjoyed everything she's recommended #so having even a fraction of her power is very fun for me #I'm so excited to hear all about it at book club on Thursday!

I start my new job next week!!! Holy shit!!!!

#erin rambles #it will mark exactly four months from being fired to start date #I cannot accurately express how fucking awful unemployment is #it's like a government sponsored depressive episode #but this new job marks the start of a new career!#I'm stepping away from admin assistance and moving towards legal assisting with the goal of being a paralegal in the future #and then I start my paralegal cert program in september!#I'm dead serious about this #way more serious than with the editing cert mostly bc I have family and friends in the legal field #also I'm really excited to get new glasses and start going to the gym again #thank GOD bc I need to start exercising again

I fear I am tempted to chop all my hair off again

Well. I finished it. I was a little worried that the third book wouldn't really have anywhere to go after this one, but I should've known better. Sanderson writes fantastic twists and they haven't felt forced yet. Also his long ass books don't feel too long, which I find surprising.

I have 50 pages left in Well of Ascension but holy shit, if this is how the book is with 50 pages left I'm kind of scared of how it'll end
