Caroll will always be terribly important to me. He was the first person in my life who showed me that someone like me, who had a rough home life, who struggles with depression and anxiety, could do something important and meaningful and bring love and understanding and kindness to the world. I genuinely wouldn't be where I am without Caroll's influence in my life. Would he like a freak like me? I have no idea... I try to live a life without regrets, but the one I have is that I never got to meet him while he was still with us. He was truly an amazing man and I'll always carry him in my heart.

As far as I’m concerned, pokemon villain writing peaked with Guzma. Legitimately worried about the erosion of culture due to hyper-tourism surrounding their sacred rites and practices. Abused as a child, ran away from home to start his countries only youth hostel for similarly troubled kids, and funds it with crime. Bug type specialist, with an ace that is mostly known for its first stage being cowardly. Cultivates a big scary persona as a defense mechanism to protect himself and his members, no one can beat big bad Guzma, so they don’t have to be afraid anymore. His grunts trust him enough to ask him for help when they screw up, despite the fact that they all come from troubled homes. Was so significant that pokemon switched from having cartoonishly evil bad guys and teams to the current model of “sympathetic and understandable antagonist that has some very good points, even as they oppose the protagonist, and is in some way actively doing good in their community by supporting those who are the most in need of assistance, due to some legitimate failing of the current system.” There is a cartoon villain looming behind him, but they’re a twist and not the main team presented. Everyone wants to be him, but they can never replicate the perfection that is this man.

Spinney never acted when he performed Big Bird. He was Big Bird, and Big Bird was him in different time stamps. He was him as a child, and at the same tim, Big Bird was like his own child to him.

We wanted to tackle one of the trickiest parts of Superman mythos; and that's the entangled romance between Clark Kent, Lana Lang, Lois Lane and Superman. Often times these more mundane parts of Superman get pushed to the side, when they can give so much insight into the characters and what they're seeking from each other.

About Vandrii:

Vandrii is a nephew of the Count and lives with him and the Countess in the summer and fall when his parents are exploring the world as part of their work for their Journalism Magazine. Vandrii's mom is the Counts sister.

He has a lot of crafty hobbies like knitting, baking, and painting. He likes sharing these activities with his friends.

His spiderweb shaw is a hand me down his mom gave him before they left, so it's big on him, but he almost never takes it off because although he doesn't like to talk about it he really misses his parents. Though, he's thankful for his visits to his Uncle.

Count Von Count calls Vandrii his little storm cloud.

He's closest friends with Ernie, Bert, Oscar, and Big Bird.

Vandrii's favorite place on Sesame Street is the street sign itself. He likes to draw with chalk under it and relax in the sun.

making heavy use of a technique i like to call "bothering my cat" which consists largely of bothering my cat

like, okay, consent does literally just mean agree. which is what enables this little rhetorical trick. because there's all this cultural emphasis on sexual consent, which is just expressed as consent, a lot of phrases whose intended meanings are "rape is bad" can be taken literally to mean "i should get to agree to everything that happens in my vicinity."
