F1 the movie
I enjoyed this movie because I like F1 but other than that I was a little disappointed. It felt like a MacBook that's kinda the only way I can explain it, at points it felt like an advert.
However some moments were great. All the points inside the car especially watching this at the cinema really hit and I was heavily invested. As well as the score I mean it's Hans Zimmer. He is the god of movie scores and it shows in this movie especially I think because the rest of the movie is kinda mid but the score massively elevates it. In other movies I have watched where he has done the music the movie is also great and the score accompanys it well. But in this movie the score really makes it.
As an F1 fan I also felt at moments I was being spoon fed F1 knowledge. It's great obviously for the spot to get new viewers in and I hope it does F1 is a beautiful sport and I hope more people love it like I do. But as an existing fan it was kinda annoying. That might just be a me thing.
The acting was obviously really good it's Brad Pitt do I even have to comment on it. I did enjoy all the cameos from people like Crofty as well they were really nice and just made me smile.
All in all a solid movie and I hope it brings new fans to my beloved sport.

Inside Out
When I was younger this movie never really effected me like when it fist came out I was five. But then when I was in my preteens and into my teens I was heavily depressed and watching this movie always used to give me hope that their was light at the end of the tunnel. Ans now I am over my depression I realised that when I watched this movie was around the time I was changing my attitude toward my depression. Obviously depression doesn't just end and it was like 2 more grueling years of it. This movie however showed me that sadness is nessicary to life and that I may be feeling sad now to feel happy later.
In addition, as I mentioned, it made me realise that maybe I was ment to be sad and angry. A lot was going on through that period. I was dealing with being transgender and having heavy gender dysphoria and just kind of being angry at life and myself. Then I had friendship issues. But again this movie showed me that it's ok to feel how I felt. It's just life.
Also no way this is a kid's movie. This movie is definitely for teenagers. I'm 15 now and this movie is definitely for me 1000%. Or at least in my opinion.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
This movie is actually class NGL. Again so much better then I remember. THE SETS THE FUCKING SETS ARE INCREDIBLE. THE CHAMBER AND ARAGOG FUCKING HELL. I have been to Harry Potter studios and re- watching all the movies again has unlocked memories of all the sets and just they are so incredible and really stand out in these movies and in my opinion make them so much more real. Now many movies opt not to do this for budgetary constraints or because the CGI looks better, but I always appreciate a practical set. All the time and effort that go into them is just it heighten's my appreciation for a film even more.
The acting in this again is way better than I remember and Rupert Grint is once again a stand out within the movie. All the actors really are so so good. The story is also interesting and this really sets the series up for all of the horcruxes and what is to come within the series. ALSO THE NEXT MOVIE IS WOLF STAR I CAN'T FREAKING WAIT. OMG I LOVE WOLFSTAR AHHHH.

Bodyguard
Episode 1: HOLY SHIT HE IS GONNA KILL HER. Also that bomb threat was so fucking omg that was tense. Like jesus Christ at one point her finger was so close to the detonator. He was fucking incredible at talking her down tho like I have respect for this man.
Episode 2: So much happened this episode. The terrorist attack from the attack on the Home Secretary's life. Omg both of those situations were so tense and so well handled by the show. I also enjoyed that after the attack on Julia David never mentions how his friend shot himself in front of him, showing how repressed he is as a person. It was shown on the last episode as well when he didn't wanna talk about the war in Afghanistan. He just wants to push it all away and it's insane. ALSO THEY ARE IN A SEXUAL RELATIONSHIP NOW?!?! Insane way to deal with trauma once again like dude talk it out fucking hell. Like this man just needs to do therapy and I legit think everything will be ok. He doesn't need to be the strong silent type.
Episode 3: David always looks tense like I have never seen a moment of release from him ever in this show. I noticed that this episode. Also SHE GOT BLOWN UP. That's fucking insane. AND ON TOP OF THAT, he is lying about knowing the shooter on the roof. I still don't know why he is doing that. I guess so he isn't seen as an accomplice but it's gonna get him in so much more shit than he is already in like coke on dude.
Episode 4 - I can't believe he tried to fucking shoot himself I have said it once and I will say it again he just needs to go to therapy like on god. Also THIS SHOW IS GETTING SO SO INTERESTING AS EVERYTHING IS COMING TOGETHER. I am so excited to see the next two eps.
Episode 5 - I'M ACTUALLY SO HYPED. I'm so hyped for the finale like actually. Everything is coming together so well and it's so nice to watch. That's one satisfying thing about a kinda detective cop show is that everything always gets tied up in a little bow afterwards and it's so nice to see but I can't wait until the finale AHHHH.
Episode 6 - I really like how the series ended and how everything came full circle. It was really really well done with Nadia and that. I have been so impressed with this series it was so so interesting and exciting. Every episode had me thoroughly invested, it's nice when I am used to watching like 5 season long shows with filler episodes to be able to get to the point in every episode was nice. But all in all this series is fucking incredible like a definite 4.5. Not quite a 5 because usually for a series to be a 5 I have to have an emotional connection to the characters or it had to be really really good. But yea 4.5.

Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone
This movie is a lot better than I remember. I haven't watched this film since I was younger but I always remembered the child acting as being incredibly mid. But it's actually pretty great especially Rupert Grint. Christopher Columbus did well at keeping the actors in line. He also did a great job at portraying the wizarding world. He is really able to bring everything together in such a beautiful way. As a child I loved these movies and I can see why. One thing in movies that children love, especially for me as a child, is the songs. And the score in this movie is just incredible. I just omg it really immerses the viewer in the movie. The sets as well were also an element that made the movie incredibly fun. I mean the Ps3 level CGI was not really it... But from the early 2000s THIS IS INCREDIBLY PEAK. But yea this is a great movie that is fun filled and way better than I thought it was.

Sleepers
What kind of fucked up version of stand by me is this. Its a brutal watch just to think about what those boys would have gone though its terrible. But also a great job at acting out that pain by the young actors I feel like they really shined though this movie they were really good at showing the pain in their characters. That internal struggle was really felt. I felt the last half of this movie let it down a little when they were doing all the court scenes they were good but not great. I felt like all the stuff about Wilkinson's was thrown in their a little. Like it could have been set up much better but I honestly think this is a solid movie. I have been meaning to watch it for a while actually because I had heard it was a great movie with Brad Pitt and Robert DeNiro and it delivered on that. This is not Brad Pitts best work but definitely a good performance as he always delivers. But I haven't seen DeNiro do a mediocre performance in his life everything I see him in he is utterly incredible. His performance of the priest was one of the highlights along with the child acting and honestly Kevin Bacons performance as well. He really made me fucking hate him. But yea I feel like the second half with the court scene isn't as good as I hoped it would be I was expecting like Primal Fear levels of court scene. But anyways still a great movie!!

Sinners
I don't think I enjoyed this movie as much as a lot of other people did. Parts of it to me felt rushed and the transition to horror was messy. There also wasn't really any clear messages in the movie a lot of them kinda felt half baked such as the themes on race, slavery and colonisation. While all are linked I felt that they were never like really dug into as themes. I will admit tho the fucking jump scares got me omg I was scared shitless. Also all the stuff with the vampires was cool and weird. I liked a lot of that. But yea a lot of people have said this is the best movie of 2025 and I would redirect them to a plethora of other movies that have come out and will be coming out this year. The acting however was immaculate from Michael B. Jordan and the rest of the cast. That really pulled me through this movie to really make it feel alive and great. As much as I couldn't get into this movie that is one thing I really enjoyed is how much life I feel it has. I feel like everyone involved was passionate about the project and the whole movie just felt alive especially with the music. Music like blues for me especially always makes me feel alive. So that also added to the movie. But yea not as good as people said in my opinion.

Neon Genesis Evangelion
WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK WAS THOSE LAST TWO EPISODES?!?! Like seriously, I thought at one point they were doing the 'it was all a dream' thing and I was so ready to flip my shit. The whole series made sense up until the last two episodes and now I have no idea what the hell is going on. Hopefully the movie might help give me some clarity and all the other shit that has been made regarding this series. It was really good like incredibly good but like what the actual fuck. The ending doesn't really answer any of the questions that I had thought the series, well mainly the main one. WHAT THE FUCK ARE THE ANGLES??? LIKE I REALLY WANNA KNOW. I don't even know. I'm gonna watch the film tonight and I BEG it gives me clarity. If it doesn't explained videos on YT better help me.

Spider-man: Homecoming
This is such a fun movie and fits Spider-Man's vibe so we'll and it's nice to have a break from all these world ending heigh stakes plots/villains that have been in the MCU up to this point. Especially if you are watching the movies in order like I am. It's nice to just tone it down and go on a mission with Spiderman. Also he is my favourite Marvel superhero so I will forever glaze.
Ned is also a great addition and they add MJ in so subtly for the next few movies just kinda building up her character and having Liz as the main love interest instead. The plot twist of her dad being the vulture is good to although it's definitely not that much of a surprise and pretty predictable. But non the less still good.

Star Wars: Return of the Jedi VI
“There is still good in him.”
I love in this movie how they just kill Palatine by throwing him off of the spaceship. Like dude must have weighed nothing. I do like this one a lot I think it is really really good for when it was made. I also love Anakin's redemption and how he was just kinda misguided in his anger not purely evil like Palatine. I also love Han and Leia in this movie, I love them in every movie tbh. Same with R2-D2 and C-3PO I love them in every movie.

Captain America: Civil War
TEAM IRONMAN
Omg this movie is way better then I remember. It's so funny and witty and introduces so many things. Such as Spiderman and Black Panther. As well as the Bucky and Sam duo. I love Bucky and Sam so much actually they are one of my favourite duos. AND SPIDERMAN SPIDERMAN SPIDERMAN ITS SPIDERMAN. I love him so much I am so glad he has been introduced and what an introduction it was. Wakanda also very well introduced and very well set up. Because everything is just kinda dumped in Marvel movies now I always forget how planned out everything was back in the old movies. But yea this might actually be one of my favourite MCU movies I love it so much. ALSO MY BABY IRONMAN.

Black Widow
I actually liked this movie a lot more than I remember. I have always been interested in the Red Room and where Natasha came from so for me this was a very interesting concept.
Alexi and Yelena also carried this movie on their backs. Black Widow was actually the most boring character in this movie, I don't know how they kinda consistently are giving her less and less of like a personality. I don't know how to explain it. In the movie about her backstory, when I should know the most about her, I still know nothing. But Alexi us so funny I also love him in Thunderbolts same with Yelena.
Fucking hell tho this movie just seems like a side quest for where it is placed in the MCU. Like it's just so weird it's placed here I dunno it doesn't sit right with me. But it's more well placed than some of the other MCU projects.

Star Wars I, II, III
The Phantom Menace
"Are you an angel?"
I LOVE PADME AND ANAKIN SO MUCH THEY ARE SO CUTE. Honestly I think these movies get way too much hate I actually like them a lot. The only annoying thing is Jar Jar but other than that I love a lot of things. The light saber battles are so much improved they are so so cool, and so is Darth Maul in general.
Attack of the clones
"I killed them. I killed them all. And not just the men, but the women and the children, too. They're like animals, and I slaughtered them like animals. I hate them!"
I love that this movie stars Anakin's descent into madness it's so cool omg. I love this storyline a lot more than the Phantom Menace's one. Hayden Christensen is so good at showing Anakin's descent into madness. I don't know why he got so much hate for his role I love him as Anakin.
Revenge of the Sith
"I hate you!” “You were my brother, Anakin. I loved you."
This movie is so cool. Anakin is one of the coolest characters in all of fiction like actually Hayden Christensen plays the descent into madness incredibly well. I just omg this film is so cool. As well as the light saber battles. THE LIGHT SABER BATTLES ARE SO COOL. LITERALLY SO COOL, IT IS THE BEST MOVIE FOR LIGHT SABER BATTLES.

American Psycho
This is my favourite quote from the movie and I know it's not originally from the movie but I still love it because it perfectly describe's the movie in a nutshell.
"When I see a pretty girl walking down the street, I think two things. One part of me wants to take her out, talk to her, be real nice and sweet and treat her right... the other part wonders what her head would look like on a stick."
This movie is fucking ridiculous and I loved it. By the end I was just saying, what the fuck is going on and I think that so what the film is meant to solicit. Also how do people miss the point of this movie to me it was so on the nose. Like when he wants to fuck the girls he is not really interested in fucking them, he talks about music or looks at himself in the mirror. It's so ridiculous I loved it so much this is my kind of horror. It's so so so funny. I was laughing my ass off when he was naked with the chainsaw, like Jesus Christ that was funny.

American Beauty
I think I am too young to understand this movie, and what he said at the end really got to me.
"You have no idea what I’m talking about, I’m sure. But don’t worry. You will someday”
I bought this movie on DVD and I just know this is one that I will keep coming back to because of that line. I want to find out the day that I finally understand fully what he is talking about. But it's still a great movie non the less. So we'll shot and acted, it deserved all the oscars it got.

Star Wars: Empire Strikes Back V
"I am your farther."
I love this movie so much I even have the poster on my wall but I just feel like it's not quite as good as A New Hope. It feels to me like all middle trilogy movies are, filler for the finally. Not to say this movie isn't good because it is. It's just not as good as the last or the first will be because it's in the middle. But I sill love this movie and Yoda is unhinged omg. I completely forgot how fucking like insane he is. It's so funny how insane he is tho and I love Lando as a character he compliments the main 3 really well.

Star Wars: A New Hope IV
"May the force be with you"
This movie is way better than I remember. I watched it when I was a kid with my dad and I always thought the movies were good but this was incredible. Like omg upon rewatch this is incredible for 1977. The story the set design the special effects everything it just so good. Also C-3PO is so fucking funny in this movie he is low-key my favourite character in this. Him and R2-D2 are fucking iconic. Luke is also so cute he becomes so serious in this movie but I think George Lucas was really able to capture his teenage wonder, as well as Mark Hamill in his portrayal. Overall a perfect a Sci-Fi.
The only thing I would improve on is making it not look like my teachers PowerPoint presentation with better transitions.
